  1. Catskills jack on the 12z NAM now lol. Still giving 20”+ from Orange County northward. Poor coasties
  2. GFS vs the world lol.. fun times incoming for the interior!
  3. Interior bomb incoming. Should be widespread 12-24” throughout our area up here. We will have ratios on our side as well
  4. 2/26/10 was 28” for me as well. One of my fav storms of all time. Eastern Orange County was jackpot with 35”+
  5. Jan 2016 was the worst I’ve ever seen.
  6. I just don’t see this supposed extreme cutoff in our area. Only those humping the GFS see that and we all know that model performs worse than Stanton with runners on base
  7. About 1” on the ground here 32F
  8. There is gonna be a weenie band setting up shop somewhere between 80 & 84. Someone in there is prob in line for 15-20”. I think everyone else up here is good for a nice 8-14” snowfall. I do think the immediate coast taints for a bit.
  9. Jeez that euro run was something else. 12-24" widespread throughout the region. I do like where we sit with this one tho with the possibility of 1-2" of precip & the potential for 12:1-15:1 ratios. The GFS is back on K2 again & sitting all alone so I would completely disregard it... for now
  10. If there is talk of the NJ coast, NYC & LI staying all snow then expect to be fringed. Its a rule that works out more often than not. Lets hope for more of a hug in future model runs.
  11. I still think those N of 84 w/ 750’+ elevation see some sort of accumulation. Advisory snows look likely for those above 1500’ in Sullivan/Ulster counties
  12. I think flakes for all N of 84 on friday morning.. Accumulation will prob be for those above 750'. Anyone above 1500' like MSV could see some advisory snows. Still plenty of time for it to be a dud.
  13. Crazy cutoff.. You can see the cutoff clearly on the mesonet site
