Orange County was literally split in half from west to east with totals. Was down in the east side of warwick last night and they have about 5x the amount I have and it’s only about 10 miles to my SE

Even with this non-event im at 50.9" for the season. Just about at my long term average

I can confirm. Imby 4” drove to my folks 15 mins east of here and widespread 14-16”

3-5" throughout this area of Orange County. No wind. It was a non event here

The entire western half of Orange County is under 6". It shows a hole there because thats the only report from the area. I live in the area lol

I see a 6" was reported in Goshen at 1015a. Those 10"+ plus amounts were prob just east of there. Not exactly 2016 but pretty impressive in terms of cutoff. In 2016 I remember Minisink closing schools because the southern part of the school district near unionville & pine island receiving 12"+ amounts while those in Otisville & Mount Hope had T-1". Now thats a cut off!

Yeah I got 12" here for Boxing Day. Amounts doubled once you got to the eastern side of the county. These wound up systems that move E off the Delmarva dont like us too much out this way.

Sullivan county had a blizzard warning and ended up with 1-2" lol. In my neck of the woods the highest wind gust was 15mph. It was quite clear by 0z last night this was gonna be a non event up here. The usual suspects tho in eastern orange cleaned up w/ 12-15"

My folks in Highland Mills are telling me 12-15" in their backyard. Crazy to think that Chester is a legit 15 min drive east for me and about a 10" difference!

Oh for sure! They benefit from these coastals and that added lift from the Hudson highlands. My folks live in Highland Mills and ive seen them weenie themselves an additional couple inches from sitting on the SE facing slope of Schunemunk Mtn
