Has anyone ever been to this part of TX? I wonder if that would be awesome chase territory...rather small population, outside of I'm guessing views of mountains in the distance it's gotta be pretty flat and there must be like no traffic. I feel like dry line chasing is the way to go...like forget the chaster convergence in the Plains.

NOAA has been having a TON of problems with their products since like the summer. The NWS hazards map, SPC outlooks, perhaps others too. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @OceanStWx what's been going on???

the mentioning of accumulating hail. I want to visit Reno one day. Perhaps b/c it's one of the locations I forecast for, but the weather there really fascinates me. I think it was last winter but I remember one day when they had a winter weather event there was like a several inch difference between what was measured at RNO and what was measured at the NWS.

What I would watch for are the overnight lows. BDL could legit see 45 for lows all of next week

I agree with Kevin this ends up being too 3. Next week we’re going to add on to the departures...not just from highs but lows. Looks like much of next week could feature lows that are at least +5 to +10 and perhaps as much as +15. I guess we’ll have to see what happens during the second half of the month but I see ridging holding firm

Nature will be exploding over the next 14-days. Lush green and budding for all. Birds chirping and pooping on cars, those cute yellow flowers popping in lawns, and other spring stuff

Next week is going to be pretty wild across a large part of the country...should see a fairly high impact storm with significant snows in the west and severe weather in the south.

Parts of the west are going to get slammed with snow the next few weeks. Should even see a classic Plains blizzard at some point

That's been a pretty strong signal for several days. Flooding could become a big threat too...may see same areas get nailed multiple days

I think we're 5 or 6 days away from the GFS getting into April!!!

My brother's girlfriend posted the other day she saw wasps too. Hell, I even saw a spider in the bathroom the other day for the first time in months. I was actually getting concerned b/c when I moved to Windsor Locks I was finding like 2-3 spiders in the bathroom per week for the first few months. Even had a MASSIVE run run across my bedroom floor. Pounced on that like a wig on Kevin's head...didn't even see what type it was. One time I was on the toilet about to rip off some toilet paper AND THERE WAS A SPIDER ON THE TOILET PAPER...WTF
