  1. Not as strong as the 12z GFS, but CMC also has something cooking day 9
  2. @Terpeast @MillvilleWx Question - 12z CMC shows sleet nearby. However, checking the column/soundings, only the 750mb to around 800mb level (maybe 825mb) goes above 0c. EZF at 120 has it around 1C. Is that enough to wreck snow accumulation? The warm zone is so small that I don't think it would make a big deal?
  3. Also note the warm layer on the 12z cmc is 750 to 800 level. Everything else in the column is good
  4. Ripping snow DC metro at 120... but ping ping ping isn't far away
  5. Mod snow for most of c into n va at 114 on 12z cmc. Icy mess as you get to CHO
  6. HP is a few mb stronger on the 12z ICON at 96 compared to the 06z run at 102
  7. As Ji (and others as well) would say, biggest 12z runs of our lives have started
  8. True, but I doubt it's going to go much farther north with that TPV in place and the confluence acting like a brick wall to our NE
  9. Becomes a southern slider. GA/SC do well. H5 has a huge cutoff low in baja California now at Day 9
  10. It's dumping a bunch of energy on the backside at 207
  11. Yes for most of us it is... though those up by the MD/PA line lost some snow
  12. 06z GFS still good, nudged south with the snow totals though and slightly drier 06z 00z
  13. The mix line is because of a slight warm intrusion at around 800mb. EZF is upper 20s surface at the time
  14. 800mb gets to 0c on the soundings... surface is fine for all
