  1. FV3 looks great still. Widespread 12-18 wallop from Danville SE to Winston to Hickory to AVL
  2. GFS is still improving for northern areas in NC and Southside VA
  3. 13 inches of snow then half an inch of ZR on top wow.
  4. The 12Z runs have al nudged the precip back north some which is good for some in VA like me
  5. Blue Rudge escarpment gets pounded still. One thing I have noticed is the models seem to be taking the storm off the coast quicker and thus warming the 850s quicker with light precip trying to hang back
  6. Yes it still has close to 1 inch qpf totals for our area
  7. The GFS FV3 still gives us around a foot too. I think we are ok for 4-8 at least for now. Euro may say otherwise. The CMC and RGEM came north and the GFS did slightly too from its far south run
  8. RGEM looks much different at 48 than GFS
  9. The old GFS continues to have the least qpf in the triad, southern VA
  10. The GFS did improve a little for Triad areas up to near where I am in extreme S VA.
  11. NAM is not gonna be as suppressed as some other globals
  12. Come on NW trend my old enemy be my friend this time
  13. If I get fringed I will be living in here a while
  14. .5 moisture makes it to VA state line thats it
  15. If you extrapolate the HiRes Nam its a big sleet and ice storm for central NC after snow. Probably 6 to 8 of snow in GSO to HKY north. Over a foot in Boone to Roanoke
  16. Hi Res Nam totals at 60.. Its warmer than Nam
  17. This is a great run for my neck of the woods over to Boone. Maybe the nam is overamping things?
  18. Sleet storm south of I 40 at 60 from AVL to Statesville. After 4-8 of snow
