    Yup we are in trouble, especially in lower elevations. Next weekend looks too warm and after that it's going to be another week at least before it's cold enough.. That puts us close to the middle of February.

    We're in trouble folks. Big SE ridge looks to build in after next weekend for a while at least according to the EPS and OP Euro. More rain of course too.

    It absolutely hammers the Northeast this run, will be some 20 plus totals

    The mid Atlantic get some decent snow this run and a blizzard for the NE, trailing piece of energy from the Midwest gives some snow for the higher elevations on the backside

    Looks like its going to phase too late on this run of the Euro.

    Well at least it looks interesting and maybe flooding. Today we are going over 2 inches easy looking at the radar which puts us over 10 for the month..

    Yea it looks like we are about to enter a more volatile than normal pattern with lots of energy around and the models are having trouble latching onto storm placement, and which pieces of energy get going.

    Euro starting to sniff out some higher elevation snow chances the next 10 days..

    It does have our storm the GFS is showing and is another closer call but rain for most

    It's actually closer to a heavy event for the mountains...

    Euro showing wet snow/mix for the higher elevations of WNC for the storm next week (at least at the onset).

    It can't because the weekend rain storm is hanging out off New England. It is funneling in some colder air though.

    THE OP EURO HAS BEEN HINTING AT A GULF LOW AROUND THE 27TH/28TH BUT IT HAS IT TOO FAR SOUTH FOR NOW. TEMPS WOULD BE MARGINAL BUT IF IT COULD TRACK FARTHER NORTH IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING,

    Yea ended up with about an inch when models were spitting out .10 to .30 at most..

    Well the op euro shows a strong low pressure for the mid atlantic and heavy snow in western VA, WVA, and portions of NW NC next weekend..

    The OP Euro caught on first to the crap pattern though still..

    It's already rained more than I anticipated.. We may eek out .25 to .50

    This winter has set the record for the least amount of fantasy snow on the Euro. Even bad winters usually always have a couple big ones 7 days out. Haven't even had the high from looking at the clown maps..
