  1. Baby steps but definitely step. Temps were an issue with lighter precip in western NC
  2. The Hi Res Nam isn't going to have as much moisture it appears if you extrapolate it but we still have time. Interesting runs tonight
  3. The Hi Res Nam looks a tad flatter but only goes out to 60
  4. Honestly I feel better that the GFS isn't showing much. If it was the NAM I would be more worried...
  5. Yea, lets hope the NAM keeps trending that way, very nice run!
  6. UK is squashed, its not trending our way at the moment.
  7. The northern stream energy dropping down is limiting the extent of the moisture on the northern edge.
  8. Canadian is back to being more suppressed
  9. It isn't juicy and it's pretty warm at the surface
  10. Euro quite suppressed still the most suppressed model with the UK
  11. That was a good storm. If this turned into half of that I would be pleased.
  12. Unfortunately with the energy that is being held back in the southwest- It will likely eject after it warms up and be a big rain maker. Last night's OP euro showed it.
  13. 22 last night. Still in the 30's, a gorgeous winter day!
  14. This winter nothing surprises me but today is a beautiful day!
  15. Exactly. but he wont understand he has little meteorological understanding.
  16. Euro is the most suppressed which is not good at all
  17. 19 pages for a disturbance that affected small portions of 3 states, goes to show how snow hungry we are..
  18. I like this map more.. It shows a bit more of the upslope component on the Blue Ridge. I did think places from Lake Lure to Wilson Creek in Caldwell county would get a bit more than shown compared to places like Dysartsville to Taylorsville.
  19. Yea it doesn't look good. At least there will be some below normal next weekend and lows in the teens possible. It will help stunt the growth of plants and grass
  20. Next 10 days of rain on the Euro is 2 months worth in some areas. I don't know how we avoid major flooding if this pattern continues..
