    April is shaping up to be cooler than March was. But with the huge warm anomalies it's hard for the cold to even it out. It also causes flowering trees and shrubs to put out 2 to 3 weeks before average.

    I hate this weather in April. More freezes are a guarantee as the wind dies down and all the fruit trees are blooming.

    Pretty strong signal for cold and accumulating NWFS late next week. I could see higher elevations getting 2-4 easy.

    Its cold more often that not the first Saturday in April for some reason (trout season). I have seen it as low as 16 that morning with snow on the ground.

    Still had some light frost this morning and 34. Huge temperature range coming today. Likely over 40 degree difference between the low and high.

    Dogwoods, maples, and lot of other are blooming here. It's amazing how the grass has went from brown to green and growing in days.

    The new Euro model shows a really chilly late March. Lots of 20s in WNC.
