We picked up .23 yesterday. Storms firing already

Please list your monthly totals. I almoat guarantee I'm at the bottom of the foothills and most of NC and SC. I managed to squeeze out 3.98 in July despite not picking up more than .80 in any 24 hour period. So many days with .25-.50 and less added up eventually.

Yeah right when I was leaving there were some impressive Scud and a shelf cloud.

We ended up with .24 on the day. Caught the fringes again but its keeping the garden going. Almost to 4 inches on the month.

Nice heavy storm in Asheville earlier. Of course my house got split again with just a trace. Patterns repeat themselves.

Got more light showers yesterday evening and last night/early this morning adding up to .27.

Just a trace today so far. I don't think we will finish the month above average. I'm still under 2 inches of rain for the month. It's amazing how consistent areas are getting rain and how areas are consistently not getting the heavy amounts.

Finally getting some steady soaking rain this evening after a brief downpour earlier. Up to .45 on the day.

Cloud cover should keep storm chances lower today. I'm still waiting on a drenching downpour, only .73 the past week from lots of quick showers. How are the rest of you all doing?
