  1. It was quite nice here, 47 and beautiful sun. Only 30 now
  2. It's a Nina, the subtropical jet isn't what it is during a Nino or neutral
  3. Yep I'm worried we may be losing out on a super blocking-NAO with little to talk about due to the lack of cold air. And if this was a Nino can you imagine the subtropical jet? It would decide to finally have a -NAO with a moderate Nina
  4. This "pattern" looks to be breaking down soon looking at the EPS and GEFS.
  5. I will gladly take a spike at this point
  6. BullCity no more thread starts for you
  7. How much did you have last season total?
  8. It's up there for me too. Definitely in the top 5. And to add insult to injury it's been raining here for the past few hours.
  9. Glad you are getting some, I have moderate rain.
  10. Has been raining here past hour or so
  11. If the Euro is correct then it's going to dry out some finally
  12. The southern part of the county seemed seemed do better than northern part other than high elevation areas.
  13. Crazy variation in snow amounts in short distances. Here at my house less than an inch, 2 miles to my SE on a hill close to 2 inches. Probably 2 or 3 in Morganton but very little near Hickory.
  14. Biggest bust here since January 2013 or March 08.
  15. Did some driving around. It's pouring in Morganton and they have a few inches. Also was triple the snow on the bypass as we had near the river. Even a few hundred feet help in marginal setups
  16. We really need a true southern slider with a nice CAD high to do well here, I can't remember a ULL working out here Edit- great minds think alike
  17. I should be used to it here but I was spoiled when living in Virginia.
  18. Flake size has increased a little but it could snow like this for 100 years and amount to nothing
  19. I got about an inch that's quickly melting. It's 36 now and doing pretty much nothing. Foothills fail
  20. Lol and there's where the snow went. Looks like Wytheville down to Galax may be big winners
  21. Downsloping has begun here. Ceiling raising and temperature rising. On to the next one
