  1. Looks like Central VA to DC will get a decent snow out of this.
  2. Dude y'all have won 2 natties the past 6 years and have made the CFP so many times you have nothing to complain about.
  3. It digs so incredibly slow I have never seen that.
  4. Macon to Aiken has definitely missed out a lot.
  5. Lots of freezing fog in the foothills. Its 29 here and getting foggier
  6. As of today the rest of winter outside of January is a D or F. Here lately we seem to get a big storm or nothing. Back in the 2000s and 90s it seemed like there were a lot more 3 to 6 inch snow and sleet storms. Now its 8 to 16 inch big snows but only one per season..
  7. January is an A- here but the rest of the winter is D or F.
  8. This Euro run isn't gonna cut it, the trough isn't sharp enough
  9. It's more moisture more than anything else. You can tell by the current radar the trends are sending bands up into western SC. I wonder if I'm too far west. If anything falls here it will be frozen or freezing on contact. Its 22.
  10. Its increasing big time on every model I have seen. Could be a lot of people caught off guard tomorrow morning going to work in Hickory, Lincolnton, Shelby
  11. Seems like a nowcast deal but the trends are clearly more moisture for 77 area
  12. Road temps are definitely not mild here. It was 18 last night and barely got above freezing in shady areas. Its 25 now already.
  13. NAM coming in much juicier for western areas, could be very slick tomorrow morning.
  14. You know its a bad sign for the long range when burrel has nothing to post about in here
  15. Enjoy the northwest flow with cold, dry air and clippers
  16. I will believe a -NAO when I see it. Long range looks like a lot of NW flow to me and some clipper action maybe.
  17. 10.5 here which is a little above the seasonal average. If we don't get any additional snow it would be right in the middle of the past 18 winters being the 8th snowiest. The snowiest of course was the 2009/10 winter. Of the top 8 snowiest winters, 3 of them came from mostly one storm all winter. This year, 2016 and 2018.
  18. I finished January with 10.5 snow and a monthly low of 10.2°. Snowiest January here since 2016.
  19. Ouch, that is a terrible look for western areas and its only 5 days out
  20. Euro is a swing and a miss, gives a little snow for far eastern sections
