  1. I always thought Tannehill was pretty good. Like you said, sort of on the fringes of a top 10 QB. I think he could have been better with some decent talent around him. I actually have a Tannehill autographed football that picked up at a charity silent auction the year before he was traded. I think I got it for $10 or $15. Nobody else was bidding on it and I felt sort of sad for him.
  2. I’m at the State complex. Clouds but no flurries so far.
  3. True but I’m not sure Tua is even at Tannehill’s level.
  4. It was a stupid decision. I’ve been a fan since I was 4 years old. This type of stupidity pushes me towards just walking away. So frustrating and short sighted. I don’t think Tua is a star QB and think they need to look elsewhere. Ugh
  5. And it’s snowing. Sqaually like PF said.
  6. Lol. I didn’t even notice that. Yes been one all my life. They are worse than bad, they are mediocre and boring. You can be an awful team but still be interesting. Also, Tua will never be a star QB.
  7. With a temp swing like that, you probably could have made syrup from a sap run.
  8. Or the Pats in Miami. (Yes I know the Pats are in the playoffs and Fins aren’t. I just have nothing else NFL to trash talk about. )
  9. Nice article about Rangeley and Saddleback in the Globe this morning. Here’s the link but I realize it’s probably paywalled for most. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/01/08/metro/with-its-ski-resort-open-again-everyone-is-rooting-rangeley/?et_rid=745095886&s_campaign=todaysheadlines:newsletter
  10. With the way Will has described his hatred of the heated sidewalks at Stowe Mt. I don’t even want to think about what he would do if this was reality.
  11. Snow in the cities is nearly as valuable as snow on the slopes. It’s probably better nowadays with web cams and easier communication but it seems like a lot of people don’t think the can ski if they don’t see snow in their backyard.
  12. Here is my prediction. PF’s big break will be that he gets sent in to straighten them out. It will be tough for him to leave his beloved Mansfield but the allure of advancing his career will be too much. Soon we we will be reading posts from him reminiscing about upslope and moose farts.
  13. Dryslot is contemplating offering up one of his grown children for a redux of that map Tip posted. He might even throw in a grand kid.
  14. The weenies in NW Ohio are bitter looking at that image.
  15. And use non-ethanol gas. Especially in small engines. That’s all I use in my lawn mower, snow blower and sleds. I’m luck as the gas station closest to me has it. If I’m out on the sled and have to fill up at a place that doesn’t have I make sure to put non ethanol in as soon as I can afterward.
  16. I had just seen a story about night sweats being a symptom of omicron. https://fortune.com/2022/01/03/omicron-infections-strange-symptom/amp/
  17. And even though I’m at 1250’ it’s more of a plateau type set up so I miss quite a bit of upslope unless the conditions are just right. Thursday’s snow never really got to my house whereas at my office in Waterbury there were on and off snow showers all day. Mountains add a lot of variety to weather.
  18. Yeah, I think he teaches at UVM but I’m not sure what subject. Has to be something STEM. I work with some real data hawks and they got nothing on him.
  19. Yeah I just a walk around downtown Waterbury. Even the slight breeze made my eyes tear up. Wintry for sure.
