  1. My cousin who lives in Huddersfield, W. Yorkshire said they hit 41C That’s stunning for northern England.
  2. I guess I didn't realize the extent of their business. I knew it was a nursery of some kind.
  3. I've never bought anything there but I drive by seemingly daily sometimes. Like you said, it's pretty much next to MPV, not far from the end of one of their runways.
  4. Ended up with 1.13" As Ginx said, it was a nice stratiform rain perfect for watering gardens etc. without washing out roads and driveways. I had an in office day yesterday and all of my colleagues with gardens were happy to have it.
  5. .91” on the day. A couple of flashes and some rumbles earlier. Not all that exciting. It’s been a nice, gentle rain. Good for gardens.
  6. No, no, no! C.O.C type weather is a rigid range of temperatures and dew points accompanied by a specific amount of cloud coverage and wind speed. There can be no variation and it is the same, regardless of season. Once these parameters are met, the day in question must be reviewed by a panel of posters before receiving the coveted C.O.C designation. These are strict guidelines meant to ensure the C.O.C title is not demeaned.
  7. .07 per hour at home. Up to .20 now. I'm in Waterbury at the office today and it seems a bit heavier than that here.

  9. That makes sense. Did you drive down Rt. 100 or take Rt. 7 back dow to Bennington and the 9 to Wilmington? I like 100 better than 7.
  10. Why didn’t you like Burlington? I was up there walking around the lakefront last night.
  11. Better than my run in with wildlife tonight. We got home to find out that skunk sprayed somewhere really, really close to the house. And all the windows were open. Maybe living in a hermetically sealed house like DIT isn’t such a bad thing at all.
  12. Did they blow a seemingly locked lead in a super bowl? If not, then they can’t be Falcons.
  13. We got up towards 10K a couple of times in Wyoming last year in the car and 9K walking around and doing light hikes. I was surprised that I didn't feel much.
  14. The punch buggy is now a squash buggy.
  15. Yeah. It’s private, just down the road from Stowe. I think it’s like $7–$8K per year
  16. Played in a pro-am at the Country Club of VT today. Our team finished under par, which considering that we couldn't putt to save our lives, was somewhat surprising. The greens may have been the quickest I've ever played. I had at least one 4 putt and a couple of 3 putts. My biggest struggle was in the sand. I got into greenside bunkers twice, each time they were really deep pot type bunkers and I couldn't get out and ended up picking up my ball. I drove the ball well and only lost one ball all day. I think my score was right around 100. . Anyway, this was the first day I have taken off to play golf in a couple of years so it was a good day over all.
  17. All kidding aside, we played in a pro-am at Country Club of VT today and it felt pretty hot. My car thermo said 84° when I was leaving. Not quite as hot as I thought it was going to be.
  18. @Eskimo Joe I was going to say that you could drive up the Toll Rd. on Mt. Mansfield but when I looked, it says closed right now. @powderfreak might have more info on that. If that is your type of thing, you should take a ride up the Mt. Washington Toll Rd. if you're in that area. It can make you a bit queasy at times if you have a fear of heights.
  19. So, in other words, you don’t like country music, yiu like pop music.
  20. Nice. Where are you going to be in VT?
  21. 43° for the low here. Stupendous day and great sleeping weather.
  22. Wait, they were outside in the brutal cold? How did they survive?
