  1. Yeah holy crap they look to take the radar bullseye.
  2. Anyone on this board saying they don’t want a quick hitting paster is lying to themselves. It’ll melt fast but no one will convince me they don’t want a fun wx event.
  3. The Messenger SE tick works even in Maine? lol
  4. I actually expected more on the Jackman cam.... it almost seems like Dryslot and Lava robbed some of that snow from the areas closer to the Canadian border?
  5. Snow mixing in down in Stowe Village. Took a drive up to 1500ft and while snowing, not much accum besides a slushy whitening.
  6. Awesome! Good to see Lava getting a fun storm.
  7. Snow level in Stowe was around 1300ft on a quick weenie drive. Just starting to stick around 1500ft.
  8. Nice! You’ve got a ways to go on radar too.
  9. Love that 4-14" range.... when you really don't know and it is entirely possible it's 4" or 12"+.
  10. I’ve noticed GYX doesn’t usually paint the terrain with the detail BTV often does.... around here it’s like these little max zones scattered everywhere with the peaks in every event lol. Like the detail on today’s map!
  11. Yeah, it will be fun to watch for you guys. Some interesting weather finally. Up here it's a different animal but same "system". I don't think we have any shot at dynamically cooling the column over in most of Vermont (high terrain in far NEK?)...the low is bombing right next to you guys, we are removed from those dynamics. The upper mountain slopes will be snow above 2,500ft probably in this area, but where most live its a cold rain tomorrow. Our chances for snow back this way come when the deeper moisture wraps back around for the second time. Atmosphere should be colder and the orographic signal on progs is pretty strong for the mountains at this time.
  12. With the snow maps, I think anything shown less than 6" is a wash, maybe a coating to 2". There's a lot of QPF over 24-36 hours, anything under 6" probably loses most of it to low ratios, white rain, etc. But they do show the max zones that could get hit with plowable snowfall.
  13. Yeah we want this to tick anyway possible further NW later in the track. I like the chances with the upslope to get low snow levels as the atmosphere is considerably colder on that NW flow with -2C at 925mb. It looks like a much snowier sounding than the synoptic system here. Also diurnal coldest time of day. Might be able to grab a couple inches at home.
  14. Winter Storm Watch issued here. That 12z Euro was a pretty substantial upslope event. Probably 1-2” slop at home and 9” in the parking lot at 1500ft lol.
  15. lol I do think Jay Peak gets destroyed on the upslope. Might be able to sneak it far enough south to Mansfield too.
  16. Sugarloaf crushed on the GFS. Good backside upslope signal up and down the Greens and in the NW Adirondacks on the backside.
