  1. You can but this is a weather forum. It’s not like anyone comes here to add any substance to a weather topic in here. It’s likely because it is a fairly political topic… people come out of the woodwork to discuss those topics. Come in and add some weather substance from time to time… that’s what the forum is for.
  2. I learned two things this summer. Deer flies like the color blue. And COVID attracts deer flies like blue buckets. Half the posters never stepped into the NE forum before.
  3. As the Notorious DIT said, “It’s over. Time to move on.” Like I’ve said, humans love drama. Any and all of it.
  4. Yeah I can’t wait. What a great story line for MLB. Plowed a corn field to make a baseball diamond just like Kevin Costner. If you are a player how could you not be excited for that.
  5. Torrential rain and thunder from the SW once again. Third downpour today. This atmosphere can flush some water, tropical rainfall, monster raindrops.
  6. Not often you give up 7 in the 9th and still win by 12. 20-1 would’ve been cooler though lol.
  7. This is insane lol. Should’ve gone with a position player at 20-1. They would’ve blown this bad if they didn’t score 3 touchdowns with a missed extra point.
  8. Thank god they put up 20 runs because the Rays have put up 6 so far in the 9th, ha!
  9. 0.10” this evening and 0.30” on the day… this stuff just continues to pump the low level moisture. So humid outside this evening after the brief downpour. MVL hit 75F dew after the rain shower, I bet if you had a PWS in the forest near the grass you might have gotten near 80F.
  10. 14-0 lead might be enough of a lead for him to give up a couple bombs.
  11. How do the Red Sox blow this tonight? 10-0 lead in the 4th inning so far against the Rays.
  12. Either way it’s really uncomfortable so doesn’t matter, ha. Summer nitpicking.
  13. They strike me as more marine coastal plain influenced? I’ll have to look closer on a map. I’d assume given the fluidity of the atmosphere there can sometimes be separation between like EMA inside of 495 and outside? Like how FIT is drier sort of removed a bit from the immediate coastal plain? Just spitballing. Edit: Yeah I could see that air getting to ASH too looking on a map. I saw CON/MHT low 70s and assumed ASH was similar but it is quite a bit further S. Looks like ASH and LWM at 75F now. I dunno, 78F seemed a bit high but wondering why they had 4-5sm visibility haze with those high dews too?
  14. What the hell? Didn’t know that was possible.
  15. I see nothing wrong with the ORH dews today though. FIT was mostly 70-71F, BDL mostly 73-74F… ORH is right between them at a higher elevation and was 72F all afternoon. Not seeing how ORH is 3-4F low there… so they should be 75-76F dew like 700-800ft higher?
  16. What’s the elevation difference between ORH and ASH? ASH actually seems like the dew point outlier to be honest comparing to FIT and other area stations. No other official stations are seeing sustained 78F dews in the interior.
  17. Good god man. Now on my bucket list. Norway's topography was something special and this looks right up there with it.
  18. Ha yeah that’s serious if you have a 77F tarmac dew at 90F.
  19. Had 0.20" rain early this morning and I was afraid if the sun came out all that would do is juice the low levels more. Still damp out there. Had more clouds than expected and you can tell from BTV's AFD they are a little concerned on the clouds and temps running 3-5 behind guidance. It's really not bad out there without sun.
