  1. Oh man just half of that house would be well north of a million here. There is one in Stowe Hollow actually that's very similar, be curious the price. I'll have to take a look for it. Not this one but talk about excessive.
  2. Yeah the snowfall in inches may be a bit higher than down south but the snow preservation is horrific. Great area for squalls and a lot of light snowfalls, but pack building it is not, lol. The price on that place seems surprisingly reasonable for 3,300 square feet.
  3. 88/72 now in the valley. Summit is bouncing 77-79F. When that hits 80F, MVL is going 90+.
  4. 86’s at 11am at BTV/MPV/MVL up here. Wow. Today’s definitely the hottest one yet.
  5. Wow. Sox just find new and creative ways to lose. Dude was clutch last night and the opposite tonight. Lack of consistency is utterly annoying.
  6. They win this game in the first half of the season. We'll see here.
  7. Ha right, the mechanic just took it the next logical step of figuring out why. Good point.
  8. Ha! Us non-car people showing why we are non-car people. No one mentioned the parking break.
  9. Yeah that's been my objective normally for going swimming. I get if you are spending the whole day at the beach, there for 6-8 hours chilling, laying out, swimming... maybe it has it's benefits if you are going in the water multiple times for long periods of time that day. But for the "hey lets go cool off" idea, the reason is to reset your baseline to cool IMO. Getting out and feeling just as gross a few minutes later sort of makes it like what's the point? Need some of that evap cooling
  10. Ha bingo! By the time I walked the dog back from our favorite little hole (it's same probably a 1/4 mile from the door) I was hot again. A friend and I have been putting in about 800 square feet of new flooring here yesterday and today (thanks Dogecoin spring run), and even with the AC, going in and out, saw setup outside to cut/trim, carrying old carpet to the trailer to take to the dump, carrying 5 foot planks back inside.... drenched with sweat most of the day . I like the way you phrased it, ha. I just wanted "a few minutes of goosebumps" to feel refreshed. Not stepping out of cold water to walk back in what feels like a south Georgia swamp.
  11. Ha what?! You want to exit and end feeling refreshed. I’d pay money to get out and feel chilled. It’s not refreshing at all. Will never understand it. You head inside AC to feel cool though, seems to counter the idea that you don’t want to be refreshed, no?
  12. I just got back from swimming with the dog and while the mountain river water is very cold, once out of the water there’s no refreshing cool feel. It actually got me thinking, most like the humidity for swimming but part of the “refreshing” part of swimming is getting out AND feeling cooled off afterward. Not getting out and then feeling just as sweaty as before lol.
  13. Yeah even 60F dew will feel like an October day now.
  14. This is when you throw hard but have no idea where it’s going… Red Sox Stats · 14m 99 99 99 98 99 99 97 99 98 99 99 99 97 97 97
  15. He crushed that ball, that thing went four and a hazel!
  16. Even some normal mins of like 50F would feel cold right now. Normal lows 51-52F at MVL… 12 of the last 16 days have been 60+ and 8 of the 16 at 65+. We are getting destroyed by the overnight departures.
  17. It won’t be all that long before some are getting angry when it’s warm because it’s not seasons in seasons.
  18. Gotta get her to say “that’s a pair of shoes” for Eck.
  19. There’s a forum for everything I’m sure. Hopefully off-topic stuff doesn’t ruin the weather side for him.
  20. Nope. Throws really hard but has literally no idea where it’s going. I think it’s Whitlock. He bounced back after his Yankee outing and really saved the game for them with multiple innings after Barnes last night. They needed something like that to get them excited again. Hopefully that fires them up a bit.
  21. This has been one helluva stretch of dews and heat up north outside the tropical storm. Every day is dews 65-70F and heat.
  22. You’re in the firehose. 1+ axis expanding this evening. It wants to rain.
