  1. Never a big fan of the short term rapid refresh type models....need to watch obs and radars for reality at this point

Nice to see such consistency across the models...kind of thought the Euro would have a strange run like it did before the last storm....I still kind of think everyone stays with a WWA as meeting the 5"+ criteria seems to be marginal at best. But clearly best shot for any warnings would be Chester, Delaware, Lower Montco and Bucks...
  10. Winds have been gusting into the 20's from the northwest this morning. We should see sun for much of the day before clouds increase this afternoon. Snow will develop from west to east across the county toward the midnight hour tonight. The snow should end near daybreak with a general 2" to 5" forecast across the area. Sun returns for the rest of the weekend with temps not too far from normal levels with highs in the upper 30's. Chester County Records for today: High 75 Phoenixville (1954) / Low -2.8 below Glenmoore & East Nantmeal (2015) / Precipitation 1.53" Chester Springs (2016) / Snow 17" West Chester (1958)

  12. Of course true science is never called or deemed settled!! It must and should always be questioned!! Climate change is real and constant and will never change.
  13. Truth! if here in Chester County we get 3.6" or more of snow on Saturday we would be above our average snowfall through the 17th of February of 25.3" of snow.

A little chillier tomorrow and then snow arrives again toward midnight tomorrow night and should be done by 9am Saturday morning. At this point the NWS is forecasting a general 1" to 3" across the area. Colder Sunday and then a gradual warming trend next week.
