It's been just off to my northeast all morning. Some spots north of the village have picked up an inch or two.

No hail, grauple, squalls or any other convective appeal up here. Just on and off steady rain throughout the day.

6 out of the last 8 years here had accumulating snow after today's date, 2021 and 2017 being the odd ones out. With troughiness on the EPS right through the end of the month, I'd say it's pretty much a lock that we will see additional measurable snow.

Peepers are out in force tonight, love to hear it. Tomorrow is probably the warmest day until April I would think... hopefully everyone can get out and enjoy it.

Definitely a perennial snow hole. Over the years I've commented on how my little hollow here is great for cold but poor for snow. That said, with 1" from the evening activity bringing me up to 2.8", my total wasn't a world away from other reports in central and eastern Dutchess.

Nice. It seems like areas west of the Taconic got into higher rates for a bit longer.

2.1" is my "generous" measurement, more like 1.8" on the board. Terrible.

Lousy calls by me yesterday. The storm is just not organizing the conveyor belt structure and throwing back moisture like I thought it would. Snow growth is getting really paltry already. Much nicer than the cutter that was progged up until a day or two ago, though.

Broad-scale subsidence taking a real toll on the precip shield. This thing will be in and out much quicker than I figured.

Roads are all covered up here already. 30F at home, snowing nicely but nothing too crazy yet. Hopefully we start to see some cohesive meso banding soon as the low ramps up.

It would be an underachiever if it didn't. Wednesday raised the bar to 4.0" imby. That's close to the low end of reasonable expectations for tomorrow.

I suspect measurements will be all over the place. Ratios will be solid for a while, likely better than 10:1, but sun angle and warm ground will play tricks. Someone will measure 4" on their driveway while their neighbor with a measuring board calls in 8", and some nerd who clears and measures three times will get into KU territory.

Someone on a line between Warwick and Pittsfield will see a foot IMO. Impressive dynamics throughout the column, high PWATs, classic crosshair signature.

I hiked up to Skytop in Mohonk for sunrise and had a great undercast to go along with the snow-crusted trees. I think it's the first time I've seen that combination locally. I'll upload a couple of the shots later if I remember.

Getting quite foggy out there now at about 30/30F. Hoping the snow hangs on trees until daybreak so I can get some nice photos.
