This last storm brought to light another possible issue. Either my chimney flashing or a gap between the house and chimney need to be fixed. I had water coming into the basement following the chimney line from the house. Originally I thought it was my new window I had put in, but I caulked the hell out of that. This looks different. Ugh. It's on the N side of the house which takes a beating in storms. Suddenly this has become the moneypit.
Ahh cool. Yeah I'd day 45mphish or so. Maybe close to 50 at times. But that's fairly typical. LLJ might have been a tad strong up near the NH border as LWM was 43kts.
Windy, but nothing atypical. What do you mean hear it out east? I think inland mixed because this late in the season, you don't have a stabilizing wedge at the surface. So the land lubbers got a taste of some wind.
