    An area of mulch that is 2’X2’ won’t affect dews.

    I put mine on a post, but just keep grass under it. All I did was reseed a bit around where I dug. Mulch could locally cause some slight warming on a calm day.

    There is definitely a signal for fropas here. It will likely average AN, but you’re seeing fronts make a deeper push south.

    It’s just a lot of work in winter. In summer, nothing to worry about except food. I’ll give you that. But as far as risk mitigation, it’s much easier in summer.

    ?? No power in Winter is scary. The only good thing is that food won’t go bad as quick. But you risk frozen pipes and water damage.

    They did way better Eversource. UI had more crews on standby. Eversource just said they were not prepared. I saw a comparison for New Haven County between UI and Eversource. Wasn’t even close.

    My Davis had a 13 and change /hr rate last year briefly. It was a legit white out mini microburst. I can’t imagine that for a half hour.

    Ours was mainly SE. really just before and during squall. Some areas not touched, others multiple trees/limbs down.

    Mild down still with 80s and dews. Get used to that ridge. Will be with us through winter.
