    Even as depicted, it looked like colder air was moving in. You could see that at the end of the euro op. I think it looks fine as far as temps go.

    Right if it happens, sweet. But I think many expect those results when we talk about things looking good. I’m just saying that we shouldn’t always expect those kind of seasons when we say things look favorable.

    It looks fine. Big ridge out west. Cold will be enough. You don’t need Arctic air.

    Everything looks pretty good. As long as you aren’t expecting 2011 or 2015 you’ll hopefully be happy.

    I think a narrow area of several inches could work out. But honestly I’m quite baffled with how bad modeling is. Maybe two areas. One near TOL and points SW to NE from there in the high terrain. Perhaps another area just away from the coast like HRRR and Euro show? That would be depending on how that low develops and brings in the precip.

    Yeah. Bring that west a bit and I’ll play with the dynamics vs .2” of qpf every 6 hrs.

    Would be a real wet snow too. I dunno, I’d be happy with 1-3” of man snow.

    Winds go North And that’s awfully close to the meat of the band. Those are 10:1 maps, but several inches certainly possible verbatim.

    The RH fields at 700 and 500 sort of show that the bands rot overhead.

    Euro is getting close with that meaty band into SE areas.
