  1. Don't feel bad. I almost made a similar post, but saw why he's there. Sorry for your loss @canderson
  2. Seriously??? PA or AZ, it makes no difference to the weather gods.
  3. Yeah, but I want you all to get snow. I just couldn't resist tossing that out there...lol
  4. Honestly, you're who I had in mind. I think you'd be a good mod.
  5. The guy needs a timeout, and this sub needs a dedicated, resident moderator.
  6. So now I get to deal with the Phoenix Split...
  7. .34" in the desert rain gauge so far this morning, and if everyone is right, it's going to continue all day. A true Sonoran Soaker as they call them out here... I'll update more later.
  8. I have to say that, for now anyway, I actually enjoy the first day of winter. Added benefit. On this new Office Depot account I drive on, I only go to Tucson, and then to Tempe. No more Flagstaff snow for me!
  9. Setting up to be a soggy desert this weekend for me. Pretty impressive rain event as far as Phoenix is concerned. Thursday Night A 50 percent chance of showers after 11pm. Increasing clouds, with a low around 56. East northeast wind around 5 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Friday Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. High near 63. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. Friday Night Showers. Low around 52. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Saturday Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  10. I'm beginning to think that it's not going to be cold and snowy until I return to PA. The same thing happened from 96-01 when I was out here. Snow was quite scarce back there during those years. I came back and all hell broke loose in 02-03.
  11. 3.50" in Tamaqua for what appears to be the final total for the event.
  12. 3.32" in Tamaqua per the USGS gauge since mine doesn't work anymore.
  13. High end point and click rainfall totals for Tamaqua and eastern Schuylkill County were 4.25" earlier. Don't know if new forecasts will change, though.
  14. I was thinking. Maybe Canderson should put some Airtags on his trashcans for later tracking and final location for retrieval...lol
  15. Looks to be wet on both coasts. After our flirtation with 80 degrees the next few days, the talk is of getting some much need rain here in Phoenix late next week.
  16. I don't know. My buddy that drove refrigerated trucks quit and is going to become a driver instructor. I gotta find a new connection...
  17. Hope y'all don't mind me here. I'm 2,300 miles away, but I've been a contributor for years, and will likely return once my commitment to my mom ends. I'm not a troll, but I do like funnin with you guys sometimes with my warmanista tendencies...
  18. I thought my move to Arizona would help you guys out, but so far, that's failed miserably...
  19. Thanks and enjoy! It's kind of nice to watch it all unfold (or unravel) from a comfortable distance.
