  1. Crazy. We went from too little to too much.
  2. I know most of you will enjoy it, but I wonder if what we're seeing will be the general theme of the entire summer. In my highly uneducated theory, the pattern that developes in May seems to carry through most of the summer season. Just as you guys like your winters to be winters, with cold and snow, I like my summers to be actual summers, with generally warm to hot days, broken up by occasional late day thunderstorms.
  3. Hopefully we get an answer. That is a pretty cool graphic.
  4. My Wednesday to Friday forecast doesn't get me above 60 for any of the three days along with the rain...
  5. The line collapsed "a bit" before it got here, but we still got a good hit. Half inch in 15 minutes with some lightning/thunder and bit of a breeze. Points south and east likely got it better.
  6. I stand corrected. Everything exploded, and unless something changes drastically, I'm going to get slammed in about 15 minutes.
  7. That line looks quite healthy, but it appears, per future radar, that it stays primarily north of I-80.
  8. I hope not. I didn't look at the models, but it wouldn't surprise me.
  9. Two nice days next week and then right back in it again... Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Monday Sunny, with a high near 66. Monday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 44. Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Tuesday Night A chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Wednesday A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 64. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Wednesday Night Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Thursday Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
  10. Thank goodness the bushes didn't go wild...
  11. Update... 0.54" since midnight. 1.72" for the event. 8.12" for the month.
  12. And it has increased since my previous post. I'll update later. Maybe before I go to work.
  13. Checking in... 0.27" since midnight. 1.45" for the event. 7.85" for the month.
  14. Not good for a person battling depression. It makes it infinitely worse.
  15. Right now, dry air seems to be eating away at the northeastern flank of the precipitation shield. We had light rain earlier, but now it's, if anything, just a light drizzle/mist.
  16. Getting sick of these ULL's. I sure wish the pattern would change already...
  17. I guess the fact that the rain will be spread out over several days will keep flooding down, but still, the ground is so saturated from last week, Creek and river levels will still be pretty high.
  18. All I've got to say is that I'm not looking forward to another week long multi day rain event, but this week to be a repeat of last week with rain chances from Tuesday into next weekend. Ugh... The dark and drearies are not good for someone battling depression.
  19. Hit 'em low. After all this rain, you don't want any "fried eggs" on the fairways.
  20. My bad. I used my phone to get the totals for all the rain. Looking at the main desktop unit, I missed some rainfall. The totals since last Friday are such: 1.71" for Friday. 2.56" for the entire Thurs-Fri event. 5.86" for the week beginning Sunday, May 4th 6.40" for the entire period from the beginning of the ULL starting Friday, May 2nd
  21. 1.71" today. 5.77" since last Friday
  22. As I type we are at 1.15" for today with a 5.84" running total since last Friday evening. Here's the video from Tuesday's hail of an adventure...
  23. 0.85" finished off yesterday, and so far this morning, 0.70" since midnight.
