  1. They talked about his stats last night on TV. As good as he is/was, his career Chase Field numbers suck. For some reason he can't seem to get the job done out here in Phoenix.
  2. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I may post a pic or two. I'm up in the nosebleed seats, but it doesn't matter. There's nothing like postseason baseball!
  3. I know.... But now my game 5 that I bought a ticket for is going to be played, so I'm going to an NLCS game on Saturday.
  4. If color is based upon moisture, then the coal region should be on fire in a week or two. Tamaqua sits at 46.60" right now. There's been no shortage of rain in NEPA over the past few months.
  5. So I just found out that our FOX10 meteorogist, Krystal Ortiz, came to Phoenix from NBC10 in Philadelphia. Who remembers her? And I'm curious. I think she's pretty good, but how did she do when she was at NBC10?
  6. I could, but then if/when I return, I would GET a big hit from this forum...like a left hook to the jaw. lol
  7. I know, I know...not supposed to do this, but I didn't look at the sun with my eyes directly. I was able to get a refractive image of the eclipse at peak (80%) coverage here in Phoenix.
  8. Ugh... I remember that all too well. It'd be puking snow, everything so white and peaceful, and cool looking, and then...the mess would begin.
  9. I have my tix for next Saturday's game 5 here in Phoenix. I think this is going to be a good series, as both teams are smoking hot right now.
  10. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the times that scenario occurred in my lifetime. Rain all weekend, then clearing at sunset on Sunday, then a glorious, cloud free Monday.
  11. Similar situation, but the teacher said I'd never make money staring out a window. Little did he know I'd be a truck driver and that I indeed would make my money staring out a window...lol
  12. Thanks! The way I feel is that while I may be getting older, I don't have to look like it...and even more so, not feel like it.
  13. It's what makes driving on I-17 so challenging in the winter. You can go from wet to white in less than a mile when you hit the right elevation. Then, it can happen multiple times depending on what elevation the snow level actually is.
  14. They had snow showers above 10,000ft on Humphrey's Peak near Flagstaff this past weekend.
  15. Yup, and if I weren't in AZ I'd be starting into pre-depression mood.
  16. It does, and as such I also have the right to go elsewhere. To each their own, and I don't and won't criticize those who wear masks, but personally, I'm done with them.
