  1. Hopefully the roads dry out by noon from any rain we might see this morning. Once per month, two of our trucks get professionally detailed and ceramic coated. This was the month and weekend for the truck I'm currently using to get it's annual cleaning. I'm hoping to be able to keep it clean for at least one work shift.
  2. I guess maybe I am killing this forum with my complaints about the crappy pattern were in right now. I'll try to refrain from making such posts going forward.
  3. Not sure about elsewhere, but it's quite gusty here in Tamaqua at the moment.
  4. Look at this crap. Not even one full day of sunshine, and barely more than a day without light rain. Then more wind. When is this shit going to end? Today Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 55. North wind 6 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Tonight Increasing clouds, with a low around 37. Light northwest wind. Monday Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Monday Night Showers likely, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Light south wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Tuesday A chance of showers, mainly after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 58. West wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  5. Not having a good day and getting generally PO'd, so it's rant time... Why do we always have to have 3-5 straight days of clouds and rain, and one to maybe two nice days? Why the hell can't we get just one day rain events followed by 3-5 nice days? And don't get me started on the wind that follows nearly every storm. I don't belong in the east, and really wish my wife was/would have been, open to moving out to Arizona.
  6. 0.62" for the "event" starting on Thursday. If you just take today, I had 0.44" since midnight.
  7. Check out these two Penndot images this morning. One from I-80 near Long Pond, and the other up on I-84 near Blooming Grove/Promised Land State Park... ***edited to add the US22/I-476 interchange in Allentown. looks like flakes and some grass stickage there, but we've not had any flakes in Tamaqua. Dynamics must be pretty intense with this storm***
  8. If you don't bring some of that back with you, you can just stay there...
  9. Not to Ruin the thread, but what happened to all that qpf from a couple days ago?
  10. 0.18" here yesterday and so far today.
  11. Since this is the polite side of the forum, there was no middle finger emoji, so.... BTW, Phoenix recorded its first 100 of the year yesterday.
  12. I don't know whether to give you a or a
  13. This is good. I don't mind the gloomy conditions so much if we get beneficial rain. It's when we get 3-4 days of overcast, but not much more than some light rain and drizzle out of it.
  14. Why does it seem like western ridge/eastern trough patterns seem to last for weeks, but once said ridge moves east, it's transient, and the cold, unsettled trough pattern returns? After the rainstorm, we get two nice days in the 60's before a return to a 49 degree high next Wednesday again.
  15. 23 here so far. Actually, it was as low as 22.6 sometime before I woke up, but is now up to 23.2
  16. Definitely one of the windier days not only this spring, but in 2025 overall. I recorded a 22.8 mph gust today, which is quite high for my sheltered location.
  17. So I post HERE about seeding and fixing my lawn, and suddenly I get Facebook ads for landscapers, Scott's fertilizer, and Pennington grass seed. Unreal...
  18. I had our girl trained to pee in a certain area I didn't care about. The last two years of her life, she struggled with mobility issues, among other things, so I just left her pee wherever it worked best for her.
  19. That's some beneficial rain. I need to try to prep and seed the dog kill areas of my yard before the weekend to get some natural moisture into it.
  20. Middle of next week looks chilly per the Euro and GFS...
  21. I'm breaking out the long johns for tomorrow.... seriously.
  22. Then there's this... Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. Northwest wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
  23. If you watch my next YouTube video you'll hear me complain a few times in it...lol
