    I suppose that was a little bit harsh, but those mountains are separating me from nice weather. Cold air damming is such a good name for it, because when it happens, I'm like "dammit"...lol But anyways, just to be clear, I was being facetious, and in no way wish harm on our state, or anyone's life or property who live in or on the mountains.

    I'll believe it when I actually feel it. If someone ever attacks our mainland, I hope they level the Appalachian Mountains... Sunday: A slight chance of showers between 7am and 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60.

    From mid 60's to mid 50's to low 50's to now upper 40's... I am beyond pissed off right now. The warmth is delayed and almost denied, but the cold push will be right on schedule. Saturday A chance of showers before 7am. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

    Man, you and I are so opposite. It may be above freezing, but this day sucks. Especially when it's near 70 across the state in Pittsburgh. Now I see tomorrow is only going to be 48 here. So much for the big warm up of 60+. It went from a week plus to barely three days.

    Who the hell wants that kind of cold in late March? That's like wanting 100+ in late September.

    38 here in Allentown and 62 in Pittsburgh.

    I keep asking, but no one has really provided an answer. Why does EVERY sudden stratospheric warming event and the subsequent polar vortex disruption ALWAYS decend into the eastern US?     Wow...getting some seriously heavy rain at the moment. Up to .67" on the day so far.

    I get that. I'm just ready for a string of 50's. Even I don't really want 70's and 80's. That makes things bloom, then when the inevitable cold snap comes, all those blooms are toast when we dip down to 20 or below.

    Yeah. In this pattern nobody really gets what they want. It's just sucky.

    Seems like the warmth keeps getting pushed back, and even muted somewhat. Today only 41 and tomorrow only 43. Was supposed to be the 50's. You winter guys just keep on winning...

    The road spray coming off the cars and trucks in the Skook literally was brown in color.

    These are the days that suck. Main roads probably wet. Side roads, parking lots, and our loading locations probably ice. Questionable conditions, but can't really call off/late because.....the main roads are wet. I really hate this.

    Did anyone else see this at the northern edge of the overcast cloud deck today? It's like someone took a straight edge, drew a line across the sky, and colored the bottom blue. I saw it, but this is NOT my photo.

    I'll verify that. It's much colder where I'm currently at in Elizabethtown than it was two hours ago in Lansdale where I dropped my last water load.

    Ya'all want to see some serious snow pack? Check out this video I'm going to drop here, even though it's a spring thread. It's from Ste. St. Marie, Ontario. The kid (who owns the business) is a bit of a philanthropist as well. He's doing free work for non-customers due to the hard ice nature of the plow bankings.

    We started having problems extracting water at some of the springs last summer. For some reason, it's abated some, even though this has been one of our busiest winters. I guess it might be due to less residential demand during winter. I have to wonder, though, what this upcoming summer is going to be like if we continue to be dry.
