the mainstream media doesn't help things much. there were articles out there this fall telling us how the record heating oil prices were going to bankrupt us all. sure, the price is high. but I read an article speculating that it could go up to $10/gallon. that is just plain irresponsible and causes panic, and i would imagine some level of hoarding by the oil companies/distributors that can store it. if all the oil distributors hoard it, of course it will cause supply disruption.

was outside earlier with just a sweatshirt. got the fire pit going as the temp dropped to 40ish. got a little chilly but the pine firewood warmed it up a bit. After multiple beers it was time to wrap it up and come back inside

while i am inclined to generally agree, as with all things there are outliers. I can disprove "always"-twice in the last 12 years Dec 2014 i had 6". ended up with over 100" Dec 2010 i had 9", ended up with over 90"

I was just giving you shit. i just thought your post was oddly worded, but after reading it and your response, I get the gist of what you were saying. if I read it right, what you mean is that you expect the remainder of this season to be play out similar to 2010-2011, with less snow.
