  1. Labor day weekend is the perfect weekend to do it. nights are getting cooler, days are stil nice and warm to grow grass. although down were you are in the banana belt you could get away with it 1-2 weeks later. i do mine early so it has a chance to grow before leaf sucking season
  2. i had a couple rain drops on the windsheild on my way to work this morning. is that good?
  3. yeah, that's not even funny. my parents house used to be on city water, with a well for irrigation. many folks in town had the same setup. most would have a sign out front stating that well water was in use so they wouldn't get hassled.

  7. it's the first one that i have seen hanging from a tree branch in a very long time. usually they are attached to a house somewhere. although a couple years ago i saw one attached to the top of the outlet of a culvert pipe

  20. pretty good cell ripped through Manchester NH earlier. trees down in a couple places, poles and wires down over by Lake Massabesic
  21. yeah, it got breezy. lots of leaves and small branches strewn around the 'hood. no damage that I have seen as of yet
  22. yeah you always have to climb up from the parking area to get the full experience. in winter it’s a rough climb on the snowmobile but worth it every time
