my yard was clear as of Tuesday, except for the snowblower pile. The last of that will be gone today. we're on to spring!

definately wine. i can only go by snow pack in my yard. last year the last trace was gone on 3/17. this year i still have some piles hanging on. also, last March averaged 2 degrees warmer than this March so far.

lol I was at a bar Thurs night, bartender says they are getting 4" of snow Sunday and 7" Monday. about 1/2" here

same here, but out in my way back yard there is still a foot of snow in some spots, but it is ripe. closing in on 4 months of snow on the ground (yes, it is not fully covered). went back for a bonfire on Saturday, stupidly drove the golf cart since I had a bunch of stuff to burn. Golf cart still back there stuck in the snow. womp womp.

same here, i have a big brush pile i need to burn before all the snow is gone, and doing that in the rain is not fun

had a visit from wind blew the storm door open, door got wedged into the railing/ballister. Busted the little shock thingy. not sure how the glass didn’t break, it had to have been pretty violent to do what it did. my grill is on 4 little wheels and the wind blew that across the deck but no damage

i have always wondered what exactly happens on May 1 to make it worthy of a countdown. every. single. year.

in what region? last year on 3/5 my pack was down to 4" and I had zero snow on 3/17, not even a stray pile. yeah, it is only 3/12, but i have a long way to go to zero snow as i still have close to a foot in parts of my yard.

so that’s like 2” less than here that’s fair, no real biggies but sustained pack for sure. But 69” is above average for you, isn’t it?

must have been a big difference between Nashua and MHT, because I wouldn't call this winter forgettable. completely subjective and open to interpretation, of course. what did you end up with on the season?

got home last night and the pack was standing strong with about 99% coverage. woke up this AM and the pack took a beating overnight, sunny front yard is >50% gone, shady side 100% covered, but sunny parts of back yard are going quick, about 75% coverage there. wrap it up.

I give this winter an A-. great pack year, although it was a little less great in the end of Dec and first half of Jan. my pack maxed out at around 2’, which is nothing to sneeze at. Obviously there was plenty of cold around. as of today I am just over average at 74”. Was nice to get out on the local snowmobile trails for a change.

I was worried about ice dams (which would have been a first for me) because my downspouts were frozen solid. after hitting 58 today, no more worries. it’s all flowing nicely. will be no snow on the roof by the end of tomorrow

I’ve been away for a week. what did you get in each event this week?

well I’m doing my best not to bury my sled off-trail, so I’m not really sure but based on past experience, it’s deep, prob close to 3’. Saw a moose up that way up to its chest in the middle of a clearing.

got about 2” overnight up in Pittsburg NH. Pretty toasty today, snowmobile trails down low are getting slushy
