  1. I'll take that bet. You're on....unless you are taking thermo reading from here.
  2. I know the 70 part sucks, but I'm betting temps dont get beyond mid 80's w/ cloud deck and slug of moistness potentially heading our way from out west. Cloud deck for the win.
  3. storms danced around us last night but had like 12 drops around 8pm. today looks moister and that's fine by me. Clouds keeping a lid on temps. I'll take it.
  4. probably had a black rubber roof....but hey....whatever it takes... full discloser car thermo between Etown and NE lanco saw 97-99. Not that 1 degree more means that much in the overall scheme of things, but I actually though the humidity was not too oppressive. By 6:30 pm it was 84 on way to a meeting in Denver Pa. Clouds and storms bouncing around likely helped.
  5. Agreed. I got .65'' in the NWS water bucket in Akron, and Trainer is in between us.
  6. Meh. The "heat" looks like a 1 day warmup on Thursday. I'll gladly take what the midrange is showing. We do low 90's rather well around here. Consensus on most globals say its more of a heat puff....not a wave...
  7. yeah but that means your starting to like what your looking at
  8. I havent been to the cabin since Firecracker weekend, but from the little I've been following, the deficit seems to be getting ugly up in northern locals. Hoping something changes that soon.
  9. While I'll admit that the heat doesn't bother me as much as it used to, September can never get here soon enough for me.
  10. Hoping this was a corn saver for the farmers in the LSV. I'm guessing northern folks likely still in trouble.
  11. I know.....right. Try it....you might like it..... or not. NBD, just more for me . I'll also add that the Miller family is sugar free, and cutting 90% of the sugar outta my life has let me get to within 9lbs of my target weight. I can see my belt buckle now while suckin down the "Champagne".
  12. With the little use they've gotten, they dont take much to tune up. Just keep gas fresh...lol Man i hope you are right about the snow...but if not, oh well..we do dud very well down here, so I've learned to cope.
  13. Im telling ya....keep humidity in 50s to low 60's and I can do this summer thing. No prob. BTW, they are supposedly bringin back Hi Life Llte for us Champagne of beer drinkers. Hope all's well pal.
  14. Some what??? i know what I'm rooting for. was out your way a couple weeks ago on the scooters....other than NC PA, I give SC Pa the nod for the most beautiful part of the state.
  15. He came in to troll me back in the winter when I was making a stand. Maybe he was asked to come in...regardless, he is now being asked to troll elsewhere. Get m pal.. Hope y'all r having a wonderful summer...So far its been a really nice one IMO. Humidity held at bay is a HUGE win for me. Days and days like the current stretch we are in is awesome IMO.
  16. My son and I were on the HD's headed for a bite to eat, and after looking at the radar (and finding out the owner of the pub is a fellow weather nerd (she was showing me here radarscope app), we thought Lanco was about to get rocked....instead, just a light show and no mucho in the rain bucket for last night. Hope y'all are enjoying your summer. Nut
  17. Your analysis looks solid. GFS backing away like it often does. Sauss approves as well. Good beer weather for all. Enjoy.
  18. Looks like you may get your late season last hurrah. Mangled flakes down here but its snow right. My niece/boyfriend are at the cabin now. Telling her to send pics. I post if I get any. Enjoy.
  19. 32 for low for me this am. Left cabin early yesterday morning and had 1" otg. At 6am it was RIPPING big fatties for 10-15 minutes. Its was pretty and a fitting end for me. I'll check in once in a while, but I'll be checked out far more often. Happy warm season yall. @Voyager....take the wheel....it's all yours pal.
  20. NWS has you (Enola) for 54 and 52 for the weekend. Lows in mid 30's. Spring is springin.
  21. Beer bet sasy after todays rain....you'll be mowing soon and will be able to see it growing once the sun comes out. My lawn already looked happier this morning.
  22. I was the 4th person to mow on our block. I'm usually the first. My wife said I'm slippin. First ones to mow were 2 weeks ago. I was surprised at how early they mowed, but their grass looks great...
