  1. you get excited when a model shows an inland rainer? WTF
  2. Snow on snow on snow for the chickens and their daddy. Then cold, blocking and more snow
  3. I think last nights's UK and J were colder and snowier too?
  4. and lots of long nice walks, I'm good with a 2-4 week stretch of winter if we can get a nice pack up to around 20" for a bit
  5. as Brian said, just hoping for a good front end thump here before the slot and driz. Pretty strong low so the thump could be good and the storm strenghtens in NE, not down off Jersey. Maybe this trends a little better.
  6. I think I read though the UK JMA and CMC looked better for next week?
  7. I’ll take that week. I’d like to hear your Dads story. I’ll message you.
  8. I love that Jerry! I came up with a thread title when I was just reading the overnight discussion I just thought to myself enough is enough it’s time for winter! And I remember my grandmother I used to speak Yiddish. And I made the thread title on a whim, just trying to add a little something different for the fun of it. Probably also, my visit last week to Auschwitz made me think a bit about the culture that was lost.
  9. Truthfully, I am probably getting carried away with the potential upside.
  10. Glad to see that has you in the yellow. Might suggest winter storm watches go up in the morning, if this continues and you are probably the eastern extent of that watch Fingers crossed
  11. My brain probably would to put my heart in my gut are speaking Yiddish
  12. The great thing about the stretch, and it could all shit the bed, is that it’s a scenario where we’re just getting colder and colder and colder as we get stormier so that by the time we get to the end of the month, we have a huge snow pack in northern New England, and a building one in southern New England. But I don’t think that blocking it’s just gonna run away too fast. Maybe the mid Atlantic starts to get in on things and we just have to deal with fringes and clippers for a while up here. But I love stretches where each time it snows, it gets colder, and we can enjoy it, instead of to fast, warm up and melt.
