Wunderground persistent with rain or snow feb 8,9,10 up here. With a few inches possible. Not buying it yet but hopeful we get some opportunities starting after the 7th.
With climate change, I've gone from 4B to 5A and it means I get peaches maybe 2 out of 3 years, but the trees themselves usually stay alive, extreme event notwithstanding. They sure are good right out of the yard, aren't they?
is that for mid level temps? I assume the surface temps are dependent upon wind conditions and mid level temps reflect the potential? But then of course, there is wind chill. Whatever, it'll be cold and our peaches are screwed.
Yes, and I do think we haven't experienced our deepest pack yet. I understand the pessimism from many; it is well-deserved, but that isn't an awful pattern for up here, though it pretty much ends winter in the Mid Atlantic although they could always get a late storm or two that melts fast.
Bro, we was kidding it’s it’s earlier, at least intimating that the pattern going forward though might be warm. Should offer chances because Canada stays cold. It’s 12 days out but it’s good to see things show up on the models even though we know they’ll change. Just shows there’s potential with cold nearby.
