  1. Oh I'm...surviving...lol. Now I just have a good excuse for never leaving my neighborhood. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. Had a high of 77 on Saturday here in Wolf. The warmest summer temperature I've had since moving here three years ago is 78.7, so you could say Satuday was summer like. And now I have snow in the NWS forecast tomorrow night into Wednesday. Gotta love spring!
  3. Just saw that. I love it when we mix snow and tree pollen.
  4. This made being up early worth it today. Wish I had remembered to grab my dslr. Looking forward to a few dry and warm days this week. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. I guess it's that's a wrap on winter. I can't believe I'm rating 40" of snow as a bad season, but I am. Just never could get a single storm to drop more than 3". Oh well, I'm looking forward to April 4...ready for some trout! Hope everyone is doing well. If anybody needs anything, I'll do whatever I can to help ya. Just putting it out there. 6. Yes it was...upper 50's today. I was surprised to still see snow in my backyard this afternoon.
  7. Well, that was underwhelming. Another <3" snowfall...but that 1.75" puts me over 40" on the season. And I had to postpone my trip until next weekend lol.
  8. Just got home to over 1.5" on the ground so far and boy is it cold. Currently 22.1° with a NW wind at 27 G37. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. Dumping right now. Kinda graupelly right now but the flakes are getting bigger now. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. Light snow and 27° currently. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. You're right, most of the nwf events this winter have been more westerly oriented. I'd like to see Boone get a good surprise. Those folks have been left out so much this season.
  12. Woke up to ½ inch of snow covering everything. I'm guessing that was with a frontal passage since the nwf hasn't set up yet. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. So what do you guys prefer to use for trout? I fish the Cane, Toe, and Nolichucky rivers mainly and everything but muskies goes after these things. Even catfish and snakes lol. I've read that some people have even gotten muskies to hit them, but I haven't. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. I'm with you there. I need some new hip waders and to replenish my panther Martin collection. I donated about 20 spinners last season to various rocks. Maybe it's time I try a fly rod. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks! She was up and walking around today, so things are looking up for her.
  16. That's not quite the death blow this season that it's been in years past though, right?. I'm gonna miss out on this one regardless, my mom had a stroke (she's fine) so I'm going to be in Columbia this weekend. I hope it's a good one for y'all!
  17. Seems like it's always one extreme or the other with precip around here. That storm was LOUD this morning. I bet my dogs are still hiding in the basement.
  18. I'll wait to see what the nam says before I give it much thought.
  19. He loves catching snowballs! Really nice day out there! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. Finished with another 2.25". The atmosphere just can't seem to produce more than 3.5" at a time this winter. Over 38" for the season now, 16.75" of that in February. 11/12/19: 2" 11/24/19: 1" 12/1-2/19: 2.75" 12/10-11: 2" 12/14/19: 1.25" 12/17/19: 1" 1/4/20: 1.75" 1/7/20: 1.5" 1/20-21/20: 3" 1/25/20: 1" 1/27/20: 3" 1/30/20: .75" 1/31/20: .75" 2/2/20: 1.50" 2/8/20: 3.50" 2/9/20: 2.50" 2/20/20: 3.50" 2/27/20: 3.50" 2/28-29/20: 2.25"
