  1. Congrats my friend. I'm sure you had a great week out there. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. I've lived here in Wolf Laurel since May 2017 and the temp at my house hasn't climbed over 80 once. Most summer days at this elevation top out in the low 70's. And we average about 50" of snow annually. There's places in the southeast that you can find what you're looking for without giving up sweet tea lol. I lived south of Columbia for 25 years, so I know how you feel. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. Exactly why I haven't said anything. The gfs doesn't have much support, but I'm thinking I might see a few flakes at least. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. 30 with ip/rn on Wolf currently. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. 13° with an inch of snow on the ground this morning in Wolf. Not bad for a flizzard. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. 28° with a flizzard in Wolf currently. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. January finished with 42.75" of Snow here in Wolf Laurel (Yancey County) elev. 4360'. That number is likely low due to high wind during the three larger events. 1/2: 11" 1/6-7: 1" 1/14: 1" 1/15-18: 21.5" 1/28-29: 8.25" Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. I finished January with a snow total of 42.75". That's only .25" less than I received for the entire winter of 2019-2020. It was also the snowiest month I've had since moving here in 2017 (2nd snowiest was March 2018 with 30.5") What a turnaround from December! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. You must be up there in elevation too. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. Had a low of 8 around 9pm. The temp has been rising since then to 22 currently. Didn't expect that with the snowpack. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. Finished here in Wolf with 8.25". Lots of wind so who knows how much it really was. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

  15. Well today was not a good day for my brake booster to fail. I feel like a popsicle right now. Currently down to 19 in Wolf with almost 2" of snow already. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. I wish I could believe those border totals. I think 2-4" is the safe bet like Met said. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. I still have about 8-10" in my yard in Wolf. I think there's been more sublimation than melting this week. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. The border is looking good for a nice nwf event behind the storm on every model as well. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. Friday is still looking good for at least a few inches of snow along the border no matter what model you look at. I'm hoping for a good ski day! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
