    last nights storms rocked, hit here about 2am.

    I remember one year back in the 90s the upper Midwest was getting slammed with blizzard, cows were dying, barns were buried with 20-foot drifts. I thought they had 6-7 feet of snow; total was 3 feet, and the winds caused all the problems.

    Especially lately, they've been cancelling flights and people in Texas are sweating more than we are.

    I go down to my brothers on these hot humid days and sweats pouring down my face and he won't install. He finally gave in today. Takes 5 minutes, not sure what the big deal is.

    There's been small isolated showers popping up all day out of nowhere. That's the pattern we're in for a while.

    Willows are filthy trees, I planted a plum tree, no fruit kind, and it grew fast and provides nice shade on the south side of my house.

    He always gave 100% on the floor, that's why he was a fan favorite, would have liked the trade a lot more if it was Brogden but I still think they're a better team today than last year.

    Only time I like the hot weather is on golf day. After a round you have a couple cold ones.

    I had a hickory get hit in my yard, heard it but didn't see it happen, been cutting it for firewood, quickest way to season wood there is.

    I just got home from Maine, and I got as bunch of large branches in my trees cracked hanging to the ground and large branches scattered in my yard, was there a lot of wind yesterday in Southern Worcester County?

    Been several times, I like the Marriot as mentioned. It's cheaper the further away you go from the park but then you have to pay for parking, better to stay within walking distance and in your spare time can go to the inner harbor and crack some crabs.

    I have two big dead ones, one actually has a few leaves way up top but it's days are numbered. I'm counting on the dead ash and hickory (lightning strike) for firewood this winter.

    I'm up in York today and it's really coming down hard, looking at radar, looks to continue for a while.

    Yeah, looking at stats it wasn't a bad winter it was just one of those oh so close winters, what could have been.

    I have two huge dead ashes in my yard, gonna cut them down for firewood this year. Last year they had a little leaf out but nada this year.

    I called tonight's league, I knew the rain would hit while everyone was on the course. If you get to the 4th hole you don't get a refund so didn't want guys to pay for playing 4-5 holes.
