a lot more still to come. Those storms below DC to Richmond will, based on models, continue to build as the head north.

I am in Wrightstown and those cells over us (the ones you mentioned) had some crazy rotation visually but nothing dropped out.

I do agree that the TOR outlook has certainly picked up, if it wasn't already pretty high to begin with.

The "high risk" is for excessive rainfall that can lead to flash flooding. While the areas north look to receive a bit more in the way of total precip, the precip rates in SEPA will be MUCH higher as they occur over a much shorter time frame. Thus....high risk for flash flooding

Winds out of the SW in Laplace should help push the lake water out.
-
Problem right now is the apparent complete stall of eye right now. The moisture feed into NO is still strong. Winds have dropped a bit, but yes, freshwater flooding doesn’t look good.
-
This is awful and will take some time rectify no doubt

There it is

He’ll be flamed forever

Obviously if the heavy rains keep filling in around NO I’ll agree they are certainly not out of the woods from flooding rainfall
-
Maybe. I just look at the radar and the reduction in stronger returns coming in from south of NO.
