    If I had to guess the reason has to do with the added lower level moisture feed I am getting from the Atlantic for why I have seen very little virga

    loving the depiction of the added moisture fetch coming in off the Atlantic on the radar returns. You can really see it on KDIX around Toms River (time sensitive) EDIT and just as I post this rates picking up quite nicely here

    flakes have started here in Wrightstown. Not that much Virga here, although it is VERY lite flakes to this point EDIT and just like that a nice fine pixie dust -SN

    Yeah I jumped the gun a tad. No 3” but definitely increased. I dunno we shall see. I still like 3-4” in DYL area.

    True, but I’m siding with the nam and globals as well as Mt Holly 75% greater than 2” on this one nam 3k has us at 4”

    That hrrr snowfall map is a joke. There is no way it’s snowing for 6 hours in bucks and only seeing 1”.

    I always understood this...a watch is issued up to 58 hrs before hand when the potential exists. Has nothing to do with those criteria posted above. Notice “watch” is nowhere to be seen n those maps

    I thought the same thing. Not a single model prints out that much rain, let alone precip in any form melted equivalent. Got to be something wrong there....
