Crank this way the hell up, about 98000 decibels

Hello Kevin Reilly! I see you awarded me a hot dog. I dont understand why. I am not a weenie. Oh wait. I AM a snow weenie! Model runs are NOT going down. Jan 22, 2024. That's the day. Get your shovels. Stock up on stuff that keeps you awake. On Jan 10 we are all gonna be tracking a storm. There is going to be cold air just in time. We are all going to be GLUED to the models. This storm will develop over the Gulf then make the turn and slowly lumber up the East Coast. A Siberian air mass will be filtering down. There is going to be a ton of excitement in not just our sub, but in subs up and down the East Coast, SNE is going to get clobbered as well by this, but it is going to be such a slow mover that it will dump ridiculous amounts of snow in Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia and over the entire Mid Atlantic then bury Philly, New York City and on up into the Canadien Maritimes. This storm will reach a point, a sweet spot that in effect is the 40/70 Benchmark for a snowstorm blasting the Mid Atlantic! The Northeastern ski resorts are going to be absolutely buried, even by THEIR standards! They will get all their winter snow mojo back in one fell swoop. This storm is going to be BIG, especially for the DC Metropolitan Region. Tracker will be back in time for this one, and Northwest DC will get buried alive in snow! Much of West Virginia will get demolished by this storm as well! We can still drink ourselves right into a stupor lol. Drink up and be merry, because regardless of how many hotdogs I get awarded, Mid Atlantic is still gonna get obliterated by snow come Jan 22 2024. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, let's make it 200! And a Happy New Year!
-
Merry Christmas everyone. Drink up and be merry! Hit about forty IPA's! We'll be demolished by deep snows soon in the Mid Atlantic!
-
The plains are farther north. Mid Atlantic has many more moving parts to get right for snow. It's just tough for us in the Mid Atlantic to get good snows. I used to go up visit Chicago, relatives live up in that area. Gangsta on the mean side of Chicago so much as farts real hard, they get immobilized by meter deep snows.

You will definitely get your snow, and lots of it. Pattern is setting up. Everything is right on track. Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we all get to dig vodka snows.

This topic is unrelenting hilarity.

High temps in the 70s to near 80 degrees, wall to wall in January, prolonged Thaw. Biblical rains in the NE mountains, with Grand Canyon-deep, ten foot wide grooves worn into every ski trail at every northeastern ski resort. First January in living memory with no snow on the ground anywhere in the SNE, NEK or anywhere in the entire continental US, for that matter. Total Nino warmth throughout the land, incredible amounts of pac air as the pac jet gets its way! Pacific front after pacific front throughout the entire continental US until we all enjoy genuine Pacific weather, as record breaking 130 degree below zero temps and 50 foot snowpacks adorn the other side of the world like never before! yep, we got ourselves a brand-new vibe in 2024. Panic room becomes the main Mid Atlantic Sub.

Get ready, stock up on Jebman Shovels and strap yourselves in. This is gonna be good!!!

Tremendous amount of rain to our south. Only one five hundred twelfth of an inch for us with this. To our south, frantic water rescues will ensue, but this storm is not Austin's. Lots of convergence is visible on radar. Reminds me of the recent east coast Waterworld behemoth that waterboarded so many. The Drought is stout as hell in south central Tex.
-
All I am asking for, is some rain. You guys in the East can have about 48 inches of snow from a KU.
-
If that happens it's going to get pretty cold even in Austin.
-
That was the year SNE had so much snow that massive icicles were plummeting from buildings downtown in BOS wreaking all shades of havoc. Then the worm tuned and we got a good deal of snow.
-
Fookin' LMAO!
-
Fantasy range outlooks have that effect on us. Especially when we want the snow so bad. You want the snow in your backyard. I want you guys to get buried alive like Palisades in 22-23.
-
Copy that for Dale City, Virginia!

I remember how good it was in the 70s. Music was unbelievable. Still love many 60s tracks. Just get Spotify - entire world of music literally right at your fingertips.

I heard that Jay Peak's snowpack is largely intact.

Horrific in New England: This is a place that should be snowing hard and piling up. Instead the resorts are severely traumatized and some got 6 plus inches of rain from that last SOB that hit. Serious, serious physical grounds damage to some resorts on top of severe snow degradation and outright snowpack LOSS. What snow remains will freeze into ice and what the resorts end up with in that scenario is a lot of severely injured patrons from falls and interaction with spicy trail objects (rocks, stumps and other crap uncovered by El Nino rains). I see now why people are so upset in the New England forum. They know the pattern. More wet storms may be on the way and this is the LAST thing the already suffering, traumatized resorts need right now before NYE. I almost cried reading it. I love snow and I worship ski resorts. What grieved me the MOST was all the precious snow they had before the recent rain debacle. I have in the past cried my eyes out over losing 6 inches of snow in Dale City before a good rain-lashing, many a time. The northern resorts should not have to deal with this crap. This is a typical North Carolina type of plague. The Nino is a total disaster and we are all suffering from it, all snow weenies are in this together. #SnowEnthusiastStrong

This is for all you Texas meteorologists. Ha. ha. ha. I read tonight in the AFD for my region, here in south central Texas. "In addition, a 100kt+ subtropical jet will move in tonight bringing additional forcing for ascent. This will result in an increase in rain chances tonight and continuing through Friday. There should be enough lift to generate isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening Friday." That was an excerpt from tonight's EWX Area Forecast Discussion. Wow. I am so excited. I want to open up about 999 Octillion Texas kegs of beer. Everyone is invited! 1 octillion in the US is represented by 1 followed by twenty seven zeroes. I love to NERD OUT about big numbers. Well the mets down here are dead WRONG. We will have some mist, maybe a little drizzle. There will be no light rain and we definitely will get NO DROUGHT RELIEF AT ALL, until late 2026!!!!! It might not be until the 2030s! I dont know why we throw huge parties down here. We got NOTHING to celebrate about, except ending up exactly like the late Mayans. Rain is drying up. Nino or no fruckin Nino, we get no rain of any consequence. What we get, is MISSED!!! Every time. There are, and will not be, any exceptions, until very late in 2026. By then, we will be fighting among ourselves for what little water may be had. I wish I could get the hell out of this g-dforsaken place. And go live in Cherrapunji, in India, where they have quite a bit of fresh water. That place gets as much as 1000 inches of rain in 365 days.

It kind of looks like its smilin at the Mid Atlantic lol, sayin you guys are gonna get totally demolished by snow this winter haha have fun diggin out lmao
-
I always thought that Leesburg04 was a cool name. But, aldie 22 is even cooler. It's just right for Leesburg and for the massively snowy winter just about to slam the hell out of the Mid Atlantic.
-
Can't even tell you how many debs with that order description I have picked up at the local I 35 7-11 and delivered. No fruckin tip either! lmao
-
Yep, it was ers wxman that started my 12 step program back to grim reality. I'm making progress. I dont think its going to snow anywhere in the conus, and Texas will be dry as a martini thru at least 2026. We'll run out of water, and I'll perish. Pacific air is firmly in control throughout the CONUS, and the 384 hour model runs are fantasy. Once people begin to realize that January will be semizonal with mild and rain, Panic Room will get overcrowded literally overnight, such as this board has never seen! It's just eight years of really bad luck. We all need a brand spanking new hobby. I need to move to Cherrapunji, India soon. They have plenty of water. Damn. I'm getting thirsty again. I wish The Reaper were on the Job. I am thinking of jumping right off the Ledge again. If I do Jump, I want a Proper Reaping.

It's the pac air. It has taken over the entire North American continent. East coast will get record rains from Nino, while places like the American Southwest will be bone dry. FOOKIN' pac jet!!!
