  1. Two day event total rainfall = .62".
  2. Jersey be cooking sans the barrier beaches.
  3. Per visible satellite loop low clouds eroding west to east pretty quickly. Should warm up nicely once the sun breaks out.
  4. The pollen dust in terrible. Just nasty.
  5. Received .25" rainfall in the T-Shower last night.
  6. Great CTG Lighting and booms of thunder. Rocking and rolling.
  7. Vivid lightning show to my south and southwest: Nice rumbles of thunder and it is raining now.
  8. Very intense radar return right near KABE. Must be getting pounded.
  9. Looking pretty robust as it is just crossing the Delaware into NW Jersey at 7:30 p.m. Would expect it to hold together and produce some rainfall at my location within the next 60-90 min.
  10. April was another wet month at my location. Total precipitation was 6.95". Total Y.T.D. is 25.88". Had .30" snowfall which brought my final seasonal total to 22.5". Hope we can at least have normal precipitation for the growing season. Don't need any floods nor do we need excessive dryness. We'll see what the hurricane season brings....certainly there seems to be solid agreement on a very active season. Numbers and landfall locations of course are two different things so time will tell. Have to believe if the high numbers being forecast come to fruition there will be at least few U.S. landfalls. Majors or not??? Of course less than major can cause all sorts of issues.
  11. Pollen going full bore here. I can't have all that crap coming into the house. It is gross, covering everything in green dust.
  12. 74 degrees in the house (78 degrees up on second floor)....A/C is going on. At least for a little while.
  13. Daily Max Temps as of 3pm.
  14. We have a 90 degree reading. Granted it is not sub forum relevant but still a 90 degree reading in NJ. Locally an 88 degree reading in Harrison, NJ.
  15. Picked up .39" rainfall overnight. Dare I say "needed" rainfall. Topsoil was getting dry. Very warm and humid start to the day.
  16. Yeah, one of the Rutgers network sites. You can view the data here: https://www.njweather.org/ Picture of the station for those interested.
  17. Received .05" rainfall overnight. Water in the gauge is greenish yellow in color. Pollen season is here.
  18. Hi @ForestHillWx- I see Rutgers just installed a new obs. network site in Chester. Anywhere near your location. Kind of nice to have an official site in your home town.
  19. Certainly can't be anything less than today !
  20. Pattern looks locked in for a while. No meaningful rain next 7-10 days, perhaps even beyond. Wet corridor next week or so running from Texas to western Lakes. Some excessive totals likely there. Dry here. Overall soil moisture is in good shape as are watershed supplies. Topsoil will dry notably over the next week though. On the bright side the grass seed I planted is doing well. Light watering daily is enough and no heavy rain to wash it away. Timed that right.
  21. Some cold mins in the spots that radiate well. Overnight low of 31 here.
  22. Cold upstate NY this morning. Looks like KSLK bottomed out at 13.
  23. Heavy shower here lasted 90 seconds.
  24. When you find some tomato and pepper plants that are drought resistant let me know.
  25. ok. I will send away for some mail order cactus.
