  5. .90 in Muttontown & .83 in Syosset from storms/rain.
  6. Check the new line forming W of Newark down to Trenton. Seems like that may be the next round perhaps.
  7. Tree on house 4 blocks N of me. Electrical wires entangled. Syosset FD on scene.
  8. Gusted to 32mph in Syosset and had some nice deep thunder.
  9. We'll have to wait for 4-5pm climo reports for ISP but appears they did get to 90.
  10. Once the winds picked up this morning, it scoured out that leftover humid air. Really dried out since, great summer day!

  14. Should be clear, just have to watch seabreeze boundary. Also watch activity dropping S from inland areas late in the afternoon.
  15. Cell just popped by Brentwood, wonder if we’ll see some convection along sea breeze boundary today.
  16. Confirmed 100 in Newark today, tying record high!
  17. Sunday is the better day for the upper 90s
  18. 93 for the high at both my stations today. See if they can get to 90 tomorrow for an official heatwave on the N Shore.
