  1. Tomer Burg had a thread on it 3-4 days ago as well. The euro extreme highs really need to be taken with a grain of salt.
  2. 2022 had 24: https://www.weather.gov/media/okx/Climate/CentralPark/90DegreeDays.pdf Edit: Someone needs to contact OKX, their CF6 for May 2022 has 2 90+ degree days, yet their PDF list says only one day in May. 5/21 & 5/31 both hit 90+
  3. Euro giveth & euro taketh.
  4. Already a nice breeze up here on the N Shore. Walked back from dropping car off at car wash & gusting to 15mph already. Shoreline of S Shore has to be 20+ mph already.
  5. Don’t need all-time, just set daily record highs. We’ll see what Newark will record by next weekend & what days they can top from list below.
  6. .79 in Muttontown & .73 in Syosset so far with scattered light showers still.
  7. EPS 5-day 850 temp anomalies has bulk of extreme heat NW of us into Ontario Canada FWIW. Eventually drops S into Ohio valley area later
  8. This is interesting:
  9. Trough bias went from SW of country to NW Atlantic now? Haha
  10. 100 possible if the modelling is correct this far out.
  11. 1.12” in Syosset.
  12. Yes, a lot of fish canes. Those that slide further S of course will have GOM most likely in the crosshairs.
  13. 84 at my stations currently. End up hitting 85 for the high at both.
  14. 82 at my stations. Was toasty at the baseball field in C Islip until seabreeze kicked in this afternoon.
  15. I got the same thing, weird. Some accounts it does twitter on, some it does X.com for. Substitute twitter for X instead & it works though. PITA workaround, especially on a mobile device:
  16. On a pc I just clicked the tweet itself and once loaded copied the twitter.com address from browser. It automatically embedded when pasted into the forum reply box.
  17. Storm total of .67 in Syosset & .63 in Muttontown.
  18. .55 in Syosset & .45 in Muttontown so far.
  19. Thunder & lightning here with rain.
  20. Are those maps operational models from 168-240? If so, I’d discard and use ensembles at that time range.
  21. 1.07” in Muttontown & 1.14” in Syosset for today.
