  1. Just down the street from me then, as I am off Split Rock. One of the PI attorney's down there (Levy), their kid goes to summer camp with mine.
  2. You work in Syosset now? See you posting a lot on what's happening in Syosset of late.
  3. 19 at both my stations as well.
  4. Sorry to hear, that sucks. Hope the tarps don’t get ripped off by the wind.
  5. Link for those interested: https://nypost.com/2023/01/17/we-rely-on-that-some-new-yorkers-mourn-the-citys-near-historic-snow-drought/
  6. Dropped down to 6 this morning, brutally cold picking up some more branches/twigs before trash pickup today.
  7. Just spent about 30 minutes cleaning up some limbs and branches that fell in the wind this morning. Rather do clean up in the 40s than teens with ripping winds. Max gust so far is 47mph in Syosset. See what else falls later with frontal passage.
  8. I'm sure a lot of us remember the old arctic fronts with the wind blowing due N down the hudson valley & funneling the coldest air into the metro area. Seems like it has been a while since we've had that happen.
  9. Knew it was a jinx when you posted you had gotten one. Hopefully we’ll break it in January.
  10. 21 for the low at Muttontown & Syosset.
  11. 27 at my two stations already, Muttontown & Syosset.
  12. I had seen last night’s HRRR had 70.9” in that area, no surprise NWS upped totals in that area. Going to be some nice videos coming out from that area for sure. Latest run showing 60” hence NWS going for it.
  13. Might get help to flip to cold with this recurving typhoon in a few weeks.
  14. 33 in Muttontown & 34 in Syosset this morning.
