Seen a lot February’s come up lame on the snow front through the years. Not new. To get back on topic have also seen a lot of these March defo bands with these deep big cyclones surprise on the back end snow front as well through the years. Really don’t want zero windchills with 40 mph winds and a coating come Monday.
I’m in the Philly thread all winter as I service accounts out that way for snow removal.No question, a band of scattered flurries can generate a 15 page thread.

You can book 2-3” on grass only events at minimum post frontal in late March and April alone. Though, you might not know it happened.
A common theme in our Climo in spring is for heavy snow events to our north with pretty nuisance 1-3” backside defo hits. As I alluded to how we’ll end up with normal totals a week ago. That’s essentially what’s on the table and has been. Euro runs were always a bit of an outlier but it looks like it’s falling in line. Let’s hope we’re still not doing this in May.
