  1. .98", dew was 68 before that moved in and dropped to 60, 63/60 currently.
  2. Pea sized hail, gusty winds, whiteout rains, booming thunder, nailed.
  3. I just got back from New Hampshire and did see a few small red maple leaves on the ground while hiking this week. Along NYS Route 7 there were a couple maples turning a nice shade of red already, I shit you not, but judging by the bark, while driving past at 60mph mind you, they appeared to be older trees but who knows? We all know how eye ball measuring goes…
  4. Smoky skies back on Tuesday? Not near the surface at least for now. I don’t see how we could top what we had in June.
  5. .20 on the day, .05 of that this morning. A setting sun and blue skies moving in from the west.
  6. A bunch of meh over here with this, some decent breezes, and I’m perfectly fine with that.
  7. CSU I’m guessing http://schumacher.atmos.colostate.edu/hilla/csu_mlp/csu_severe.php?date=20230729&version=2021&product=severe_ml_day1_all_gefso&day=1&day_str=0730&init=00

  9. Three 90 degree days so far, one in June and two in April.
  10. Yeah, I saw the second alarm in Middletown.
  11. Severe Warning here, under it now. Heavy rain, haven’t seen that in a while…lots of lightning but not too much wind. High of 88, 84/78 currently.
  12. I was at this show, some fireworks at the end as well at almost 2 am. https://www.nj.com/springsteen/2012/09/bruce_springsteens_birthday_pa.html
  13. Wish we lived there, only 58 here
  14. I have a friend in my house, which is 77 degrees downstairs as I had people over, wearing a hoodie…
  15. .16" worth of drops up here, way north of SNJ.
  16. Thanks for posting MGJ, it’s been an incredible stretch in this neck of the woods for the past several weeks, seems like if we don’t bullseye we’re damn close each event. 18.82” IMBY over the last month.
  17. 2.54", 5" since Friday, 12.86" for the month. Soooo done with torrential rains.
  18. 10.32" for the month here. I'm good with the showers all passing me by, I hope.
  19. Lots of standing water in the fields this morning. Won’t take much rain tomorrow to cause more problems. Here’s the Wallkill in Middletown, Orange is this year, red it last here
  20. Bump. IMBY: 6/27/23-6/27/23: 4.97" 7/9/23-7/10/23: 5.45"
  21. Up to 2.35” on the day
  22. Meanwhile up here, yet another Flood Advisory issued with loud thunder moving in...it never ends.
  23. So the Old Lady is barking up a storm over these bugs on her eggplant, any of you smart guys know what they are and how to get rid of them? I'm guessing the gun that I'm going to likely use on the groundhog that's eating the perennial flower gardens isn't the answer here.
