  1. 1.59" this week so far, so much for the grass going dormant...
  2. You serous Clark? Be sure to turn your headlights off.
  3. Yesterdays 69 was interesting. Wait, wut? Three rounds of storms yesterday dropped a total of .69 along with some more branches, yay, but I digress. That got my July total to 3.67". The 30-year average for KMGJ (two miles or so away) in July is 3.30" so it would obviously be considered above normal. My 20-year average for July is 4.85", so its below normal in that regard. June was below normal when compared to either monthly average.
  4. I'm on the verge of my second below normal month for rainfall, depending of course on what happens the next day and a half.
  5. Agreed, the smaller the crabgrass the faster it works. I must say though, one of our gardens became infested with large mature crabgrass and I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked, just took a little longer.
  6. I've had decent success with Ortho Weed Clear Lawn Weed Killer, the one with the crabgrass killer in it, in spot treatments of the inevitable sprouts in random areas.
  7. On the drive this morning I saw my first small maple with orange leaves. #itscoming
  8. What do you guys think? Some may get an inch or two to freshen the snowpack as this low rots away?
  9. True, and its nothing like it was at its peak last year when it was low to the ground. Most people probably wont even notice, they didn't last year either until it got to ground level. But I know its there, I know its there dammit! Anyway, a delightful low of 57/55 earlier this morning.
  10. Perfect timing for the smoke to show up today and mess up the blue skies
  11. I'm still waiting on one (.08 last Saturday), this weekend looks to end the streak for me finally.
  12. 57 for the low, up to 59/57. A well deserved, albeit short, break from the humidity.
  13. 1.39" yesterday and little to no wind thankfully. Still need to clean up a large branch that fell into another tree during Tuesday nights .08" but with much more wind when it came through.
  14. Right through Long Pond, hopefully that’s it there for today.
  15. .04 isn't very wet for here but to each their own.
  16. I don't have to imagine it, I've lived it...
  17. Had a 9.60 rate at one point with that
  18. Another gully washer here this morning with a peak rain rate of 9.60", .93" through the tipper.
  19. I have a friend that lives there too, agreed.
  20. .40 here, .47 if I include last night. Dews beginning to drop now here.
  21. It was rather clear on radar that is was coming there. .35” up here, the worst went to my north and south thankfully
