Both those situations have my AC on, as it been for the past several days. The bugs are indeed bad and would you look at that radar, here comes some more much needed rain...
Really glad it's been precipitating all day long, even if just mist/drizzle cause we really need it...especially on the weekend...up to 2.70" and stilling raining. Shouldn't BigHillLover be posting "bring back the drought"?
I agree that tippers can get funky in heavier rain rates. Another thing I’ve discovered in the past couple years, when I had the funnel and rain tube in the Stratus there was a splash issue in heavier rains from the funnel. Since I figured that out I always keep my Stratus in “winter mode” without the funnel and rain tube inside the bucket. Still light rain here, up to 2.65”.
Clearly the heaviest was east of me, and probably west of here, ONLY 2.51”, 9.28” for the month. Light rain falling, pressure still slowly dropping, down to 988.7, 56/54.
FWIW the HRRR Smoke model does have some smoke swinging through tomorrow at various levels of the atmosphere. If that happens and if its noticeable tomorrow obviously remains to be seen. (pun intended)
I was aware of FedEx planes over the years. It wasn't until one of my ones began working for a major passenger airline on the cargo side did I learn about the cargo that goes on passenger planes as well.
69 and a mix of mostly sun and some clouds, finally! Parts of my yard are the wettest I've ever seen it, which is kinda of odd because Ive hard rain during periods in the past.
If the sun keeps peeking through on occasion I may get to an hour of sunlight cumulative for the weekend. Glad to see some spotty showers popping up… maybe I can get a trace and get that streak to five days of precipitation. Getting warm out there too, broke 60 for a bit with a high of 62 so far! 60 now that the sun is behind clouds again. What a weather weekend…
I’m guessing my sarcasm was too thick or not thick enough. The winds have been stupid for months and months. A high of 62 degrees here, 57/49 right now and still on the windy side even though it’s been a couple hours since the last shower came through.
