  1. Have to hope for some convection later with the pre-frontal trough
  2. A little better than last year where we went 2 months without anything at all. But yeah, can't buy a good soaking
  3. yep-looks like very little after this batch-just can't buy a decent soaking
  4. if that crosses Hispanola there may not be much left on the other side
  5. They need to get that expansion started which will extend the runway at Tweed. Then they would not need full power to take off with a slightly longer runway-the neighbors must hate all the racket there!
  6. had to fire up the AC here late yesterday. very tropical feel out there-hopefully will wring out some rain here later
  7. people hear what they want to hear...we get a dud winter and folks yell bust even though no one predicted a big winter
  8. 18z RGEM (and 3K NAM) are drenchers for Thursday into Friday
  9. We were the first stop in the morning and we lived close to the bus yard-the bus had the heat on by the time it reached us, but the seats were frozen solid. Ah the memories...
  10. Seems like a carbon copy of last fall-rain the weekend after Labor Day then nothing for weeks/months
  11. NJ did well. Models were too far north for most of LI/CT
  12. there's a big slug by Cape Cod-just patchy in coverage unfortunately
  13. looks like a tropical or subtropical storm off the VA capes
  14. Looks scattered and models won't be able to hone in on the exact areas that get a good downpour-obviously NYC S and E favored
  15. there would be lots of wishcasting, posting of every model run, and radar hallucinations lol
  16. Breezy, mostly cloudy and 73 here...will be a close call to get any rain here-12z runs are right on the edge. LI/NYC and most of Jersey do ok.
  17. almost always a northern correction within 24-36 hrs on these systems....
  18. some of the 12z runs have a bit of an inverted trough feature over the region...
