  8. I'd be happy with that. If that's true with the Bermuda high it would keep alot of the tropical activity offshore too...however I'll believe it when I see it-last truly cool summers were 13-14 and 14-15 with the -EPO
  9. Silly. The prices of anything home improvement related are just ridiculous right now but people aren't selling so they are staying put and improving so demand is up on home improvement materials etc.
  10. I don't think CT has much for putting in AC. The solar people however are ruthless with their door to door thing--I think there's a rebate for that however.
  11. Or central air! Granted it's expensive to install but given the warming climate it's almost necessary around here vs 40-50 yrs ago. The mini splits are a good in between and reasonably affordable and quieter than noisy and ugly window units.
  12. yeah there's some here but last week seemed to be the peak-the rains came at a good time.
  13. Mostly ended here but last week there were clouds of yellow off the White pines when the wind blew...
  14. Dries fast this time of year and the low humidity only speeds it up. Next chance Thursday for rain
  15. I host a BBQ every year and we have not canceled once in the last decade until yesterday....so at least the PM was dry if we had morning rain....
  16. We had a good run of fairly dry Memorial days in recent years it was bound to come to an end....
  17. About an inch and half here most of it in the afternoon...foggy start today
  18. some differences in models for the rain timing wise-some keep it dry through most of Monday-others bring it in around noon-obviously western sections will be first to get it regardless
  19. Case in point Hurricane Ian 2 yrs ago-the media was all in Tampa when they should have been 150 miles south in Fort Myers...
  20. I think the Mets themselves are hoping all the games would be rained out...
  21. Monday PM definitely looks stormy
  22. Looking ahead to Monday and adding onto Bluewave's post from yesterday we have a tropical airmass for Monday...PWATS are over 2" on the 0z Euro (other models are a bit lower) -
