very humid here after the sun came out...about an inch of rain this AM
-
Might be from something else-havent you had a ton of rain going back a few weeks?
-
Agreed-Philly south for this one...
-
Mostly done by 9-10am except far east sections

Convective in nature-global models won't do well with the placement...
-
For Friday? 18z NAM doing the same.

Just incredible. Nice to turn off the AC and have fresh air coming through the house
-
I'm sure shore/beach businesses don't like the earlier starts....I've noticed the prices to rent some places really drops after 8/20 or so which reflects the dropping demand for those dates
-
Same here but I find the kids are bored by mid August. Rather see them get out earlier in June. Some years with the all the bogus snow days they call now get out June 25th or even later....
-
Not really but I do like the weaker sun angle-even the last 2 days it's hot in the sun.....
-
My sons go back 8/28, creeps earlier every few years...
-
Days will start to get noticeably shorter in the next couple of weeks...

anyone hit 100 last week? -
I enjoy snow and winter but the older I get the more I envision heading south at some point-the 5 months of gloom and early sunsets is a bit much here...
-
the warm blob of water off the coast argues for a warm late summer autumn as well.
-
Shades of 2002 if that happens....I think some places had 10 days straight of 90+ That summer however was alot drier than this one....
-
the hype and hysteria is getting ridiculous. 90-92 in July is not anything crazy
-
Will it even start this year?
-
Ha True. But always seems like August is more tolerable-probably a combo of lowering sun angle and dropping daily average high temps...
-
Yep as we enter August maybe the back of summer is broken....
-
Crush job here with a quick hit of torrrential rain and incredible lightning
-
HRRR is a whiff unless you're north of 287 so makes sense
-
