  1. How was such a weak low pressure system able to generate these kind of totals. It was also quick moving. I think it topped out at like 997 MB. I'm kind of confused right now.

  3. Snowfall Totals. 10" in Wellsville was most in WNY. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  4. You got over 50" if you have a 45" depth. I received 50" during round 1 of Nov 2014 LES and my depth was 36-38" depending on location in yard.
  5. My uncles farm Buried, that's a pretty big german shepherd. I would say they got a little over 3 feet.
  6. 3.1" storm total here. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  7. Well we had 65” of snow in 24 hours back in November 2014
  8. You’re definitely living it. Enjoy it and take lots of pics and vids to look back on. This is a 1/100 year storm for your area with 40” totals.
  9. Hey scott, hope you’re doing well!! Hope you stop around more.
  10. Once in life type stuff. That is extremely rare even in strongest les bands.
  11. Yeah lmk next time I'm off tomorrow until Sunday for my trip I would have went. I thought it was going to be 12-15 with inch per hour rates. Never expected this.
  12. I didn't even know this is a thing. You need to post here more often so many new things I've learned tonight.
  13. I really should have drove there and stayed at my uncles and aunts place in the hills of binghamton, its technically on the way to the Adirondacks where im going to Friday. Bad planning by me.
  14. go outside and take a video and grab me some pics. also welcome to the forums.
  15. Yeah Syracuse got around 42" from the storm I believe.
  16. From NE forums. This guy is a met. My buddy just measured 29” at his place near BGM. No end in sight. Based on radar he probably gets to 40”. Another poster just measured 31" just north of BGM. 5-6"/hr stuff. once in a lifetime thing glad I stayed up
  17. ...Very heavy snow will continue early this morning... Expect snowfall rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour through 5 AM with whiteout conditions. Travel will remain very difficult during this time. Motorists are urged not to travel, but if you must travel, be prepared for snow covered roads and near zero visibilities.
  18. Yep, you can see the rotation north of Harrisburg after that it goes into the pivot. 3-4 hours at least of these rates, then the snow rates will weaken but not end until later this morning.
