    I don’t think it’s possible for a surface low to “give or transfer energy”. Even the graphic that was posted mentions redevelopment.

    Surface Low pressure system dies out and then redevelops off the coast… for every action there is an opposite reaction.

    The GFS hasn’t budged with the redevelopment location off the coast

    For me it’s the location of where the LP development, it’s not hugging the coast like the Euro

    Borrowing this from the NYC Forum. Check the surface low location redevelopment is ideal. Not sure how it came to this conclusion but there it is

    It is on its own compared to the other models. As Ralph posted earlier, the redevelopment is further south and not hugging the coast

    The redevelopment of the low, if any will be key GFS has it tracking away from the coast and the Euro hugs the coast

    I think it’ll be sleet, what also concerns me is the redevelopment off the coast might bust. Also am I seeing the 6Z GFS has no sleet/ZR in our area? Edit: let’s not forget the dry slot potential
