  1. Did you see the post showing temperatures of the cold front coming in
  2. There used to be dirt mixed with the cinder, the cinder truck would get pelted with snowballs after slinging that shit all over the road
  3. I miss that place, Philadelphia and NYC were combined and there were great posters there too
  4. I just kinda cringe when I hear it. Since I read that red tagers (okpowedah) post/ synopsis over at easteruswx i think mgorse posted the last time I mentioned the terms are interchangeable a couple of years ago
  5. I feel before the flip we’ll see some intense snowfall rates AKA “Death band”
  6. I don’t think it’s possible for a surface low to “give or transfer energy”. Even the graphic that was posted mentions redevelopment.
  7. I remember learning that back Eastern US Weather, poster named OKPowdah wrote a paper about Miller B storms I’ll see if I can find it
  8. Surface Low pressure system dies out and then redevelops off the coast… for every action there is an opposite reaction.
  9. There really is no transfer, it’s redevelopment off the coast
  10. I think they are accounting for heavy snow bands, since this is still an overrunning event there will be a much wider swath of snow
  11. Look at the timestamp it’s early and before the most recent model runs
  12. The GFS hasn’t budged with the redevelopment location off the coast
  13. For me it’s the location of where the LP development, it’s not hugging the coast like the Euro
  14. I think that was from previous information, it’ll be changed and updated
  15. Borrowing this from the NYC Forum. Check the surface low location redevelopment is ideal. Not sure how it came to this conclusion but there it is
  16. It is on its own compared to the other models. As Ralph posted earlier, the redevelopment is further south and not hugging the coast
  17. The redevelopment of the low, if any will be key GFS has it tracking away from the coast and the Euro hugs the coast
  18. I think it’ll be sleet, what also concerns me is the redevelopment off the coast might bust. Also am I seeing the 6Z GFS has no sleet/ZR in our area? Edit: let’s not forget the dry slot potential
  19. PSU Huffman said this isn’t going anywhere near Chicago with that monstrosity HP in place
  20. Probably referring to the impending ice storm freezing rain mess that is about to hit the MA area
