  1. Follow the pattern, let’s see if the cold dry air consuming tonight and tomorrow’s QPF isn’t as advertised
  2. I was just thinking it should pull warm air off the ocean, but maybe not with temps BN As always thanks
  3. It’s gotta be an intern running the GFS and just having a good laugh.
  4. With a storm that intense and close to the coast, wouldn’t there be mixing issues. I know it’s fantasy land but just saying.
  5. Another week of “MASSIVE BLIZZARD COMING” barrage of YouTube thumbnails on the way.
  6. Everybody over at the MA forum are having a good laugh about it
  7. Philadelphia has its own sub forum. Mid Atlantic is an excellent resource for information for any forum including the NY forum
  8. Would it be strong enough to overcome the dry air from the confluence.
  9. Yeah man get it out of here. Any way you can plow it away into upstate New York
  10. Confluence is forcing dry air eating up potential accumulation along with a weaker surface low
  11. MA forum mentioned that the it’s missing on this latest run on GFS
  12. What are the models using now rather than actual data from the w pac
  13. From what I understand is this is an overrunning event. Moisture won’t come from coastal redevelopment. Models pushing this south are picking up on a “lobe” from the PV above Maine is what might be causing the southward trend
  14. Really good video explaining Confluence and how it can impact accumulations
  15. First round in Jamison was pretty intense. Some hail mixed in too
  16. Miller B storms are the preferred storm type for central nj and northward. I’d prefer Miller B storms over Miller A if I lived in this forum area.
  17. Not concerned with all of the suppression talk in the other sub forums since the cold is most likely overdone. We really only need it cold enough to snow.
  18. You’d be very welcomed in the Philadelphia forum
  19. I’d have to say I’m all in. I use the most recent trends and performance of recent events and I believe it will be cold and snowy this winter
