  1. I think what will be interesting to watch with this storm is if it really does over perform. It’ll show what we can expect from storms for the rest of the winter year.
  2. Also very rarely will a storm flip back to snow from ZR or sleet. Unless it’s an intense storm, the warm nose will take over and not budge
  3. Not buying into that time frame until the PNA is positive and there is some blocking
  4. So it seems late December will be our next shot at snow. The MJO looks to be in the circle of death. I read in the NYC forum that there might be some blocking during that time frame. What else is needed for a classic winter storm, there is one piece missing…I believe it’s the PNA needs to be either positive or negative. Can someone help me out The MJO should be in phase eight, need a negative NAO for blocking and what else
  5. And right on queue it’ll run out of steam and be a lame storm as it approaches buck’s county
  6. Someone in the NYC forum said the NAM is amping up precipitation for Friday too
  7. I work in Langhorne and watched it roll in on radar. Dark clouds for sure and the lightning was impressive
  8. Yeah, I was told yesterday that I was strange when I mentioned how I enjoy the heat and humidity
  9. That’s twice now in the past two days lower bucks get hit. Straight up 95 to Trenton
  10. Flood watches have been issued with rain expected later tonight
  11. Interesting with this heat wave is maximum temps peaking at 1-2pm when with previous heatwaves usually temps peak later in the day.
  12. I think it’s worse up here. I worked with people that grew up and lived in Fla and I could see the defeated by our heat up here
  13. And this was supposed to be the heat dome from hell and looks like it’s gonna turnout to be a three day heat wave. Im sure the gfs will fall in line
  14. With the MJO phase in the circle of death, yeah no.
